tw: germs, illness
There's horse shit outside and spittoons inside.  

I hate this. 

Everyone needs to practice frequent hand washing, not touching your faces and cleaning your apartments as well as you can.  Be careful around animals that might bite you. We won't be able to get antibiotics and other medicine easily here, if at all. You have to take care not to get the locals sick either - hand washing and covering your face if you sneeze or cough are very important.  Any of us could have brought an illness here that didn't exist in this time. We might not even know we're carriers.  The locals wouldn't have resistance and it could spread very easily.

The good-ish news - I have a power bank for my phone.  I was double checking my emergency supplies (which is a very normal thing to do) when we were brought to olden times and it came with me.

It's not enough to charge all of our phones. I'll work out a way for us to get the most use out of it. If you scientists or magic people have a way of boosting it's usefulness, please let me know.
