I have an idea for this Thursday's run club. I think we could all find something rainbow to wear while we run. Or we could do a walk later in the day and wear rainbows. I've never been to a pride parade. I know going for a walk or run isn't the same, but it'd be something.

ETA: It'll be a walk.

	They're a symbol of LGBTQ+ pride and show that you're proud of who you are. You don't have to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community to wear one. You can wear them to show support and acceptance too. Anyone can wear a rainbow or carry a rainbow flag. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

It's a way of describing all the ways people are attracted to and love each other that aren't straight. It also describes gender identities other than cis. It stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and the q can stand for queer or questioning. Sometimes other letters are used too, like 2S for two-spirits, i for intersex, and a for asexual. The + is there for all the other ways that people can identify.
