That was new.WARNINGS TBD
Or at least, Logan had thought it wasn't a big deal.
He remembered talking with Morph that one night. He remembered the lull in their conversation, the way Morph had gone quiet. Logan remembered not asking about it. And maybe, he should have. Because at least then, maybe they wouldn't be playing the avoidance game right now.
Logan had seen Morph in passing some time after that party. They had smelled of other people and Logan had gone through one of the most bizarre experiences of his entire life. He had become irate. He was jealous of people he didn't even know. And that just didn't make any sense.
Morph was his friend. Always had been. When Logan had originally joined the X-Men, he had gone through a rough patch of fitting in. He didn't get along with anyone, save for Jean. And Morph. Morph had been the one and only person who could make him laugh, and it had stayed that way for years.
Logan knew why he had gone through bouts of jealousy with Jean. He loved Jean. There was no way around it. Seeing her with Scott had sent him into a foul mood for days on end in the past. It didn't make sense to Logan that he would feel that same jealousy over Morph. Morph was his friend, but they could do whatever they wanted. Logan had never been possessive of them before.
..then again, Logan had never smelled other people on them in the past. So. That was new. And apparently, he didn't like it.
So here was Logan, avoiding his own apartment and sulking in the hallway. He hadn't even seen Jubilee approaching until it was too late. Logan tried to wipe that sour look off his face, greeting her with a (forced) pleasant, "Hey kid, how's it going?"
