A sexy, fun, illicit party

Morph has "stolen"* the keys to the Bon Temps from Remy and filled it with balloons for Megan's birthday. It's a big party, open to anyone 21+, full of drinking and debauchery and sloppy bad choices.

*Gambit knew exactly what they were doing so that's basically the same thing as having permission.

	The town had fresh air, no laws on the books regarding replicants, and a population talented at turning a blind eye to anything too strange. In Kay's book, that was pretty decent. Overengineered. Okay. That was fair. "You ever try a Kamikaze?"

She figured he hadn't. And even if he had, too late. She was already ordering a round from the bar.

Nora rolled her eyes at the mention of Harley. "Yeah. I know her. We're from the same city." Hopefully he wouldn't ask any more questions about Harley. Nora wasn't exactly in the mood to talk about that traitor.

While they waited for their shots to arrive, Nora leaned against the counter, trying her utmost to turn on the charm. "So what's your name? Where are you from?"

Kay hadn't, but he recognized the term. Given that they weren't in a war zone, though, he figured she was probably referring to something else and contented himself with a shake of the head.

He caught the eyeroll and wondered at it, but some nuances of human interaction were none of his business, so. "I'm Kay." He eyed the generous amounts of vodka that went into the drinks being mixed for them behind the bar. "I was in LA before I came here." Dying, specifically. But that wasn't club conversation. "Are you from Gotham?"

LA, huh? Didn't sound like a weird place to come from. Nora wondered what Kay's deal was. Maybe he grew up in a cult or something.

"I am from Gotham. I work with Ivy at the Legion of Doom." Spoken like she expected Kay to know what that was. Not that she'd stop to explain it if he didn't.

The shots arrived and Nora nudged one in Kay's direction. "Let's see if this one is more your speed!"

	The Legion of Doom sounded pretty self-explanatory. Not one to dig unless it was part of the job, Kay took it at face value. He also picked up his shot. "Anything I should expect?" 	He was just as quick, but he followed a moment later, mimicking her motions like he'd done it a hundred times before. The alcohol didn't burn so much as sting the back of his throat. 	Nora's face lit. up. when Kay asked for another. Maybe this Dunwich place wasn't so lame after all. "Fuck yeah, that's the spirit!" She'd have another with him.
