I guess I just feel that if I were to be mad at him for moving on and being happy, it would mean that I'm still invested in him in a way that I don't want to be anymore. If I let myself be angry or upset, it leads to me thinking about things like how if our lives had gone to plan it would be me that would be the mother of his children and we'd probably have multiple. And I don't want to go down that path, because I don't like how I feel when I go down that path. So, instead I'm just going to be happy that he was kind enough to tell me before I heard it through the rumor mill.

But I won't stop you from being mad for the both of us, if you wanted.

We both already know you're a bigger person than me. I have no interest in being with Jeff again, but if I found out his little french floozy was pregnant, I'd probably want to stab him with a fork. It's all right to be a little bitter when people who did you wrong get nice things in life.

I may not want him dead, but I could still hope he stumbles and maybe falls in some mud at some point instead.
