It was in everyone's best interest that no one poked Rydia on the topic of transportation. Her inner hippie was seething at the polution created and sheer waste of materials, but advances were being made. Small ones, but they were there. Driving sure beat walking, that much was certain. Hopefully in the near future, sustainable living would be far more accessible than the nonsense they had now. So Rydia simply blinked at Red when she mentioned fuel emissions and fossil fuels and what not, only to get derailed back to the main point.
"A raise?!" That had Rydia puffing her chest out. "Sweet! I'll take it! And yeah, I can drive. I mean, not well, but it's not like I'm trying to navigate through Deling City. Balamb Garden to the beach? Done. Do some donuts in the parking lot for good measure, too." Regardless, Rydia was giggling at Red spouting off about ideas like stock options when the company went live. It sounded like a deal to Rydia. Ah, the future held so much excitement for the both of them! The Black Mage could barely contain herself.
"Oh! Right!" By Red's side, Rydia put her back into pushing the cart... or at least helping. She was almost certain that most of that strength was going to be coming from Red, seeing Rydia had crap in that department. Though the cart was moving. Or was it? Oh Hyne, Rydia couldn't tell anymore. Geez, I'm gonna sleep well tonight. Phew! "...so yeah. Beefy interns," she huffed out. "That needs to be a thing. Hanging in there, Red?"
