Which sounds... Normal, right? We're supposed to miss home? But I think some people have adjusted to it very well, but I'm still used to wearing sequins and bell bottoms and let me tell you, those looks have gotten me some looks, which I've been told is shade. Which I also don't understand.

I might build a little hut in the middle of the best woods I can find here and slowly just turn into a little witch of the wood. Then, the parents will tell their kids that I'll eat them if they misbehave.

That sounds reasonable. I have no idea how to build anything. There's no way this will go wrong!

It was Christmas fifteen minutes ago and now I'm in Hawaii? That's weird but I should be used to weird stuff by now.

I just got the keys the the castle!

Well... okay. Just the keys to my old apartment... that was in Chicago but is now here. Go figure, huh?

But all my old stuff is here. My Wonder Woman mug. All the Pez dispensers. Even my grocery list of: veggies, granola, cereal, arugula, yoghurt and pop tarts. It's all here! Just like I left it back in 2011. This is awesome!

Congratulations on a mission well executed. I’m not usually a social creature, but my old squad used to all go to a bar after significant collars or events.

Weather seems to be agreeable to go out for a walk. Maybe hike a trail. I've heard the Pu'upehe Trail is an easy one and the views are pretty. Has anyone else been walking out there?
