Outlander/Eurovision - Geillis Duncan, Jamie/Claire.
(Apparently writing about Eurovision is catching).
Geillis hailed them as the motorcar pulled up. They quickly made their way through the crowds to her. “This way,” she directed, “You’ve arrived just in time, our quest is global now, you’ll see tonight. The revolution comes to Rotterdam.”
Jamie followed her, trying to keep his eyes fixed ahead, his hand clasped in Claire’s. Honestly, he didn’t know where to look. Brianna had introduced him to the word flamboyant just that morning.
“Geillis, we’re not here to revolt,” Claire tries, hopelessly.
It’s true, they’ve had enough war, but Jamie wonders, finally looking around, if this isn’t something like freedom.
