The choices here are slightly more limited. Finding a house rich in Greco Roman history might be difficult. The gold rush history seems to be likewise common and if those common ones are moved away from, we're left with but a few. I've never held an affinity for prisons turned into homes. A church might be ironic but the type of history matters less than the fact that it has history. It's a place where people lived and died and breathed, where people have bled and cried and laughed and existed in all the ways that real people do. It's not piece of plastic coated cheap candy that's never seen life and wouldn't know what it was if it was splattered all over the walls of its meager, pitiful existence.
