I have visited this world in the past, but it has been some time, and some things make no logical sense. For instance, I wanted to keep the books I was reading, and when the building closed I was told I could not take them with me without a 'card'. Thankfully, I had the means to keep them. A street vendor tried to sell me a satchel on the basis of its maker, though it was much too small to carry anything useful. And there is a building here that seems to hold nothing but painting and drawing on board, and statues stripped of their original purpose. Are they trophies of conquest over other nations on this world, displayed for the public? There seems so little practical merit in any of this.
