Re: [phone call: louis d/lin a]
[Lin is quiet until Louis finishes speaking. Then his own speech begins, one word right after the other, each with conviction.]
Listen, you're human, Louis. At least as far as I can tell. And one single solitary person could not deal with all the shit, most of which I know nothing about, that has befallen you and the Scooby Gang without getting fucking pissed about it. That is a completely normal reaction. Your anger is legitimate. Stop berating yourself for having feelings. It's a good thing. You want to help Sam and Iris and Neil and Joey, and protect them, or some of them, and that's okay too. It's also okay if you can't sometimes, or if trying makes you angry or if you yell at someone. We can't control other people, even when they're idiots, as you know from our phone conversation the other week.
[A pause.] Whatever happened, is happening, and will happen, you're a good fucking brother because you care, and honestly, that is a huge fucking thing by itself, petty or not, fairy or not. -- You know, it's the people who never get angry and who feel with nerves too distant from their bodies that scare me. If someone can keep their head all the time, then they're protecting something inside themselves and no one else. Fuck that.
