I think it is different when everyone around you is the same. Here, you were the only person created and raised as you were. Where I was from, we were all like this. I was lucky. I was born to genematched scientists at the top of their caste, and I was enhanced to be smarter than they were. I did not understand my father's crimes. I only knew I was popular and happy. I did not think about the people born to do terrible jobs, and I did not think about how some suffered. I was spoiled and selfish.
