Re: Neil D/Lin A
Dude, that's some serious shit. Considering the thousands of people that died all around and the panic that causes, and the fact that she probably would've died by trying to keep you from dying (if we follow the movie's own interpretation of fluid mechanics and unique understanding of Archimedes' principle). Hardcore. Shit, if someone said that to me, I'd probably cry.
Sam hit her with a bat, but only after Sam had already been sent into a state of panic and desperation, and then was held against her will against the wall by a very creepy Chloe, so. I say it was 100% justified. Chloe disagrees, but, like you and Daniel, I think it's more a case of she doesn't like Sam and (she's made it so) Sam doesn't like her, so it doesn't really matter what happens.
You're welcome. [...] tbh, Neil, I think if Chloe's backed off, great. But if she comes back, you're going to have to be extremely explicit in your boundaries with her and your feelings (or lack thereof) for her. I don't think she'll get it any other way. If there's any sliver of hope, she grasps for it, obviously. idk. You might even have to be less than nice about it, but to preserve your relationship with Sam, which I assume is more important, sometimes things like that have to be done, as shitty as that is.
