Re: Call: Luke/Wren
Unkind? [Pause.] Yeah, I guess it is, but I was kind of referring more to the fact that he's more than a little biased, Wren. [...] I know. I know, and I don't want to fight anymore. I really don't. [Pause, and the creak of furniture as he sits.] I don't want you to go anywhere either. Maybe we could kind of-- start fresh, you know? Not start over, but turn over a new leaf. I know I'm not very patient, and I know I get frustrated easily. So [...] we try to work on ourselves, and how we are with each other. If you need space, I'll give you space. If you need alone time with Gus, then take it, and whatever else you need to do, or you need me to do-- it doesn't matter. I'll do it. Just-- just don't leave. [Deep, shaky breath.] I know. I-- we could try doing normal couple things, too. Just [...] live, you know? I don't think we've had the chance to do that in a while, but I'm not letting Bruce cross anytime soon, so maybe now's the best time to change that.
