Re: Poison Ivy / Wren M.
I just wanted to know that it was true. Your life is the same. Regardless of what trauma you accused Brielle of bringing upon your relationship, it has problems still. Always has, always will. It is the human condition. Your family is dysfunctional for reasons beyond her and yet you were comfortable with allowing her to believe that such things were entirely because of her arrival to your dry city.
She is not a survivor. Not like me and not like Selina. We would not have done what she did, taking the sentence with the belief that it would make everything and everyone's life better. I'm glad that you do not visit her or write or put money on her books. Let her think the world still works that way, that she made a difference. That she righted her wrongs, which I think we both know were nothing at all. Only your petty justification for whatever scapegoat you needed at the time.
If you need somebody else to blame for your current lack of success and happiness, I'll put my girl right on it.
