I just fucked things all good last time. He's all wound around and thinking I'm leaving the second something pretty walks by, and he don't listen when I say that he's the sort of pretty I'm looking at. There's no sort of trust there, and it's my own damn fault. Probably could've just fucked him once or twice if I wanted, but that didn't feel right, with him being all twisted up about things.

No, honey, it's on account of whatever messed upness in his head makes him have no self esteem. Normal folks would be over something happened all those years ago, but he ain't reacting normal, and he's got to learn ain't no one perfect. Folks mess up, and he's being damn near impossible bout every damn thing. Maybe sleeping with him will make him feel you want him. Hell, Zee. Can't hurt none. I tried talking to Dorian bout it, but he thinks Hunter's all kinds of damaged.
