Luke's apartment. He gave me permission to see Gus, so I'm hiding here about seven hours and forty-five minutes a day? I get here a few minutes after he leaves for work, and then I leave before he gets back. Things are [...] complicated everywhere. My cousin is moving in with me, the one whose husband is trying to kill her. He's having her tailed, I guess, and I have to somehow not meddle into MK's life, even though she's at my place too, and she's falling apart. [A pause.] And I can't work, so, go ahead. Lecture in that zen way that you do it. [Smile.] I'm glad you're doing okay.

You always lecture, and you do it in that voice that makes me feel like I get panicked about absolutely everything. [Pause.] We had a really good vacation, but a big fight once we got back. We're okay now, but I don't want him to realize I'm hiding, because he'll think I'm not okay about Brielle, I guess. I haven't- The whole Alexander thing, I think it affected me more than I thought it would.
