i wonder whobut that's none of my business An individual posted anonymously seeking whomever attacked this woman. The person who assaulted her has since made his presence known on the journals as well, but only under a shroud of anonymity also.
I am the person who posted seeking information on the attacker, and I did so because the woman in question is my sister. She's already posted publicly under her own name, so I can tell you her name is Sam. She's Iris' sister as well.
The individual who attacked her and I have spoken anonymously. He seems to be without remorse, and claims that the fact that they are going to therapy absolves them of their guilt. I asked for their identity as proof they aren't simply a serial rapist or a killer, and they would not give it. This is clearly a selfish, egoistic monster, and I promised him that I would find his identity myself since he wouldn't give it.
Sam doesn't want anyone to track him down. She wants everyone she knows to drop it, because the experience was traumatizing and I think she'd prefer to pretend it never happened, which I fully understand. However, the fact that his crime might go unpunished, and that he might hurt someone else if undiscovered, doesn't sit with me. I intend to follow through on my promise, which is where you come in.
I don't, admittedly, have much to go on. My previous occupation was as a homicide detective, so I have something of a knack for tracking men down who don't wish to be found and incriminated, but there is no DNA and no description. On top of this, my sister will, I am sure, refuse to discuss the incident. I already lied when she asked directly if I was the anonymous person who contacted the attacker, so I can't ask her myself, but she's unlikely to tell anyone anything. I'm at a bit of a loss, but I'm not willing to give up.
I'm aware this is quite a lot to throw at you at once, and if you don't wish to become involved I fully understand.
