It is not an easy thing, though, to make oneself so malleable. Some piece of the self will always be lost in the process, cast aside. Something steady and unchanging in others molds and is molded, until it becomes impossible to put it back the way it was before. Until it has no true shape, acting only as a fluid, meeting the form of its container, the rigidity that gives it some semblance of shape. What holds you in, Natasha? What reminds you who you are?
