I don't think there's a predetermined expectation of behavior. He doesn't feel like my Peter, necessarily, but he feels like Peter, which is equally illogical. [...] I need to get into his lab first, which I'm doing this weekend. After that, hopefully, I'll be able to make some progress. Does Doc Ock like you? I think he's the kind of man who provides a lot of information if his ego is stroked.

You can poll different people, and they will all have different opinions about a person's personality, and they're all based on their own interactions with that person. As I indicated, it's subjective. I wasn't present for your interactions with my Peter, and you weren't around for his interactions with me. I don't think we're going to change our minds about that Peter. Subsequent Peters have been different, and I think we can agree on that, though. [Cursor blink.] It isn't an illusion, Mary Jane. You're gorgeous, and you're a much better person than you show the world, I think. I know I kind of screwed you over by not dying here.
