Joey A
[The envelope is manila, with his name on the front in a generic sticker from a generic printer. If anyone looks, there are no fingerprints and no stray hairs. The paper, the envelope and the sticker are all sold in hundreds of places throughout the city. The printer used is the same model that is used in every Kinkos in Las Vegas. The envelope contains three items:
1) The bank statement is a copy. It's for an Austrian Sparbuch account. The account is numbered and there is no name, but it shows a significant transfer of funds via Western Union wire the day before Sam Alexander was shot.
3) The transfer confirmation is also a copy of a copy from the bank files. It shows the account number from the statement, along with the missing hitwoman's signature to confirm transfer receipt. It is addressed to a Ms. Murphy.
4) Lastly, a letter is included. It is in the same generic print:
This is an offshore account that isn't subject to seizure. If you turn it over to the cops, nothing happens. They can't use it. Instead, use it to call for a truce. Be smart. It's the best deserted island I could give you.
