	Fantastic! The Altbier is the color of dark copper hair and it tastes like a very bitter biscuit dipped in caramel. It is smooth, though. That is an important part. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Germans do love our punishment.

It was a small town a day's ride away from any large city. Ancient castles decayed on the mountains around us and no one dared go anywhere near them. Innovation and exploration were less valuable than virtue and the ability to provide for your family. Young thinkers left the town early and yet I stayed. I ran my apothecary, tried not to fall asleep in church after a late night of experiments and waited for the rest of the world to come to me. Truly, I thought my life was predictable and dull in that town. I'm ashamed to say that I desperately miss it sometimes. The chime of church bells, the smell of the nearby bakery. The simple kindness.
