[A white box, tied with blue ribbon. Inside are a gift voucher for the Bellagio's spa, to be used on a package of her choosing, and a USB stick. There's no card, just a note along with the voucher that says Take a day to pamper yourself. You deserve it. If it's a little on the expensive side, well, that's what extra shifts and credit cards are for.
On the USB is a video (taken well before the holidays and their fight, though he never considered not giving it to her). It's not the greatest quality, a little shaky, but not too bad. It's shot in their bedroom and begins with him adjusting the camera before sitting back, visible from the waist up, and giving a shy smile. He says he considered buying her jewelry and other appropriately romantic gifts before realizing it'd mean more if he said what they were supposed to represent.
And, over the next seven-and-a-half minutes, he does just that.
It's a little stammery and rambly at parts, but he covers everything from how much he loves her (multiple times) to what he loves about her to listing off all the good times they've had together, with a lot of 'remember when's thrown in. He does skim over the time they spent apart, albeit hesitantly, but mostly how it proves just how strong their relationship is, that it survived five years and a lot of hardship. The last minute or so is spent reminding her that he'll never, ever want anyone else, that she'll always be the only one for him, and that he'll always love her.
"And if you ever doubt any of that," he adds, "just watch this."
