Alright, I guess I'm going to need to spell this out for you.

You remember those big posters with the Uncle Sam asshole staring down at you pointing his finger? How about those song and dance shows you did before you grew a pair? Those strengthen MORALE, Rogers. Loki just got up on every television screen in the world and told the nice people sitting at home in their living rooms with their little kiddies that he was going to crucify us for a good time.

Making a scene on public television is exactly what we need to be doing.

It's not 1940, Stark. We can say anything we want, and we can sing and dance all we want. That just makes us celebrities, not heroes. I didn't make any difference until I got off the stage and picked up a shield, no matter what the history books tell you. The world needs your suit, not your mouth.

I've been awake for a month and I know we gotta approach this differently. Things have changed, and we can't fight this war like old men.
