Every so often Meaghan had to shed her Quidditch gear and put on a uniform of a whole different kind. It was a Ministry party and partially because of her position on the team but also as a favour to her mother that she was dressed to the nines - a dark purple fitted dress and matching heels. Her blonde hair was swept up in curls and she was happy to make it look good but it certainly wasn't her most comfortable way of dress.
She smiled and moved through the crowd, shaking hands and grinning as people spoke to her of the team and of her mother and family and she did as she always did, mingling and making the McCormack name a good one amongst the others. She figured it would be much the same as ever and she would stay a bit of time, be seen and then apparate home for the night.
Meaghan took a glass of champagne from the table and continued on around the room, watching as more people arrived and filled the room.
