I work at Starbucks.. I personally love it, but my store is pretty laid back and I work with mostly amazing people. It's a fun job regardless, though.

it was okay. the job itself kind of sucked but the staff was awesome and all of my close friends worked there, too.

it can be stressful but it's surprisingly easy how to learn to make all the drinks.

i worked at an independent cafe and i LOVED it. but i also love, love, love coffee. if you work somewhere where you get the press the shots of espresso yourself (ie not starbucks) it is so much fun. it is definitely an art to learn how to press shots though. but i love it when i make a perfect latte or whatever drink i am doing.

i work at biggby and i like it! it's an easy job once you learn how to make drinks and everything. at first it's a little overwhelming trying to learn all of the recepies and everything, but it gets a lot easier. the one thing i really love about working there is the relationship you get to build with the regulars. it's so fun to make up nicknames for people and having the whole staff know who you're talking about. it's pretty great overall!

i worked at starbucks for 2 years. i hated it. i think mainly because of those AM customers who are in a rush and treat you like dirt because it took you a little over a minute to finish their complicated drink and they're in such a rush that they didnt even consider that maybe they shouldnt stop and get coffee. but whatever, i always gave them decaf. the drinks were hard to learn at first but almost two years after being fired i still know how to make them, so after a while it gets fairly easy. i did have work nightmares where i'd close the store and the customers would keep coming in for drinks and for some reason i would make them extremely slow. my coworkers were amazing though, that was one thing i miss the most. we were like a family and i got to try/test various drinks. one day one of my coworkers made a hamburger frap, he didnt drink it. we also bought reeses pieces and made a pb frap, it was delicious.
