what religion were you raised to believe in? what do you believe in now?
I was raised as a nondenominational Christian, now I'm agnostic but follow a lot of Buddhist practices.

I was raised Catholic. My mom's Catholic, and my dad was Southern Baptist, but he converted to Buddhism.
I'm Atheist now.

I wasn't raised a part of any religion. Although technically my family (and I suppose me included) are part of the Methodist church. We just never went, and there was zero discussion of religion in my house. Although, I did go to bible school when I was little. But that was more like a camp type thing than religious.
Now, I still don't belong to any religion. I've always been fascinated with Paganism and I would want to practice, bu i'm nervous I don't know enough. I also don't think I can afford to get the supplies necessary.

my dad is half jewish and half protestant and my mom is catholic, but we really don't practice any religion. when i was little we would occasionally go to church on holidays, but not anymore.
i went to a quaker school last year and i really enjoyed meeting for worship, but i'm agnostic.

my mom is catholic my dad is jewish and i wasn't raised in any particular faith. i celebrated christmas, hanukkah and passover but never once went to church. i only went to jewish services on major holidays because my dad wanted to expose me to judaism. he is reform and pretty much non-practicing, and my mom is a non-practicing catholic. i consider myself agnostic and a secular jew for the most part.

my family is catholic, but they're not really hardcore catholic like most catholics are. they believe in god, but they don't do the church thing, except for one of my cousins who was "saved" by his friend at school.
i'm atheist and my family hates it, but they don't pick arguments with me. except for that cousin, who thinks dinosaurs and cavemen aren't real.

I'm a former catholic and I became an athiest before I was confirmed but I was bribed into the church by my mom who had already lost her faith, which I still don't understand. Being formerly catholic still fucks me up sometimes, I'm not sure you can ever really leave it once you've been raised with the whole guilt/shame thing.
Now I'm agnostic. I just don't feel as strongly that there's definitely not anything out there, but I don't really believe that there's a god. What I know of Buddhism, I really like, but I don't know that much.

my parents didn't believe in forcing any religion that i wouldn't understand or wouldn't want to follow, so they waited until i was much older to expose me to religions. this way, i was able to make a decision for myself regarding what i believed or didn't believe.
my father is agnostic, my mother is santerian. i'm somewhere between those. it's difficult to explain, because there are some parts of santeria i don't follow and have no interest in following, but there are others that are very much a part of my daily life.

I was raised a Catholic (in a very liberal way). Went to Catholic college and had it beaten out of me but intolerant fuckheads. Now I'm an Atheist--or secular humanist, whichever you prefer.
Seriously, nothing ruins Catholicism faster than being forced to listen to a bunch of Catholics misinterpret everything the Bible says.

i wasn't raised to believe in anything and now my mom is into wicca and i and i still don't believe in god or jesus or satan. although with that said i do believe in malevolent spirits that just ~roam around but nothing biblical. i especially hate that its a sin to eat anything with cloven feet but christians do it anyway. thats probably my favorite sin.

Episcopalean. But it wasn't really forced on me. I still call myself Episcopalean. I am a firm believer in seperation of church and state though and that gets me in trouble with a lot of my Christian friends... I don't talk to most of them now.

I was raised Lutheran, and still am. And not because I don't know any better or wasn't taught anything else. I went to a Lutheran school that taught theology/religious studies WITHOUT bias, so I know/remember most things about every form of religion and this is just the one I identify with the most. And just because that is what my parents chose for me as a child, doesn't mean it was forced upon me.

I was raised Catholic, received my sacraments, and attended Sunday school until Confirmation although I never believed and always found the whole thing pretty silly. My mom was not much of a practicing catholic although found it necessary for me to do all of that. My dad was Protestant although never attended church or anything at all.
I'm agnostic and my mom likes to act shocked by my opinions although she probably feels the same way inside or at least I like to think most people probably do.

i was raised with "OH yeah God. Whatever."
i am Christian now, though I practiced a lot more in high school. i would say i am a nondenominational Christian with agnostic leanings.

i was raised in the bible belt, my mother wasnt very religious even though we went to church every week until i was about 6 years old. then she had to work on sundays and we quit going but she never taught me anything about it and i didnt understand bible school.
i believe that there is a high being at hand, but i feel like it's the stars and the universe or something. they're very powerful! kind of like astrology and stuff. i need to study more religions, but i guess as of now i would call myself "athiest"

Catholicism. I am currently still attending the Catholic Church, but am also attending a non denominational church as well. I am considering eventually leaving the Catholic church and to just be a non denominational Christian. Either way, the core belief in me has not and will not change. Jesus all the way~
