Welcome to

disney_icontest! This is an icon community with (currently) two week long icontests. If action picks up things will be changed to move more quickly, and we may even have a last icon maker standing competition (LIMS)!
In the meantime, we are focusing on all things Disney. We will rotate through various movies, themes, television shows, and even attractions at the parks!
At the end of each challenge, after all the icons are submitted, there will be a voting post and voters will not only pick their 3 favorite but also provide feedback on those icons. Awards and banners will be provided based on amount of votes received. Mod Pick will be chosen based on a combination of voters preference (fourth place if you will) and the Mod's choice.

Rules

01. All icons must follow InsaneJournal's guidelines of being 100x100 pixels or less, with a file size of under 100kb.

02. Don't post your icon(s) anywhere else until after results for the contest have been posted. This includes upload it as a userpic.

03. Voting for your own icon is not allowed.

04. You may use any kind of texture, brush, stock picture, or coloring that you want, unless the challenge specifies otherwise. Along these lines, animation is not allowed unless specified in the challenge.

05. The challenge post will inform you of how many icons you may submit and any other pertinent information.

06. You don't have to be a member to enter a challenge, but at least watching the asylum is recommended. Anonymous entries will not be accepted, sorry. Anyone can vote on an entry.

Submitting an icon

Submit icons in the challenge post (the comments will be screened). I recommend servers such as photobucket or tinypic to upload your icons. If you are submitting multiple icons put them all in one comment.
