Who: ~everyone~
What: Waterpark!
Where: Waterpark!
When: Waterpark!
Why: Waterpark!

It was only 10am but Suzuki Suzume, big sister and/or energetic bane of everyone everywhere, had been up since 5. Which had, of course, likely been horrible for her roommate.

She'd sent out constant text messages since 7, with 'how to get there from pretty much anywhere in Iburi using public transport' instuctions, and arranged for Seiko to drive people who might have trouble with the train.  She'd been trying to barter the entry prices down since 8, since they were a big party, and managed to get at least a small discount. After which a 'hey, say you're with Suzusuzu-nee and you'll get in cheaper' message went out. And she'd been blowing up and tying balloons since 9.

And now it was 10. And the park was open. And she'd been doing stretches and encouraging those who were there early to do likewise (warm up those muscles! The water might be cold!).

And now it was time to reap the rewards of her efforts.

Kozue in a swimsuit.

Awesome.

After Talking to Kanaye
[info]pinksunbeam

Misaki had gone over to her bag and pulled out a towel and wrapped it around herself. She looked around the group that was there and was happy to spot Seiko. This was the one person she felt she could talk to about this, since she'd seen Kanaye talking to Seiko a lot, and, she figured, that he probably respected her since she was his age and would have been in his year.

Strolling over Misaki smiled softly and looked at Seiko, "Do you have a minute? I need to talk to you about Satou-senpai. I'm a bit worried he's going to do something really really dumb that's going to hurt a lot of people Seiko-senpai."

Seiko stared for a moment having been caught up in her own musings. She hadn't seen much of the 'gang' due to having spent time with her old friends from the year before, enjoying some time away from her studies. Though they had rushed off because apparently there was some gossip they wanted to check out. She preferred to sit with (another) cold fruit juice and watch her fellow students having fun. So she was a little surprised when Misaki approached her.

"Oh uh, Kanaye-kun?" she frowned, knowing Kanaye he was often doing things that had the potential to cause either himself or others harm. "Sure I have a moment."

"Thanks," Misaki said taking a seat beside her and mused how to ask the question. "Seiko-senpai, do you...that is have you noticed Kanaye-senpai acting a bit, strange lately? I mean, it's not that he's not his normal self, but it seems he'll be happy for a moment then drop down."

She sighed, "I was just splash fighting with him for fun, then he got up and left in a huff. And when I asked him why he said that it was because he wanted an appology for me being upset that he was, well, stareing at Kozue-chan's well, butt, while she was playing Tennis."

"I know that suzume-chan and another girl were doing the same thing, and I'm not thrilled about it. That is to say, I don't mind the idea of people looking at her, like glancing. I know Keiichi does it some times, and I'm sure a lot of guys do. And but actively sitting there and watching when he's been saying that he wants to get back with Maeko-chan, it just seems a bit...I don't know, doesn't seem right to me. Like I can understand him maybe stoping and talking to the other two girls there and maybe glancing once every few minutes or something, but actively watching and waiting for it to happen. Just seems a bit, dunno, creepy to me, I guess."

She blushed because she was babbling now and knew it. Waving her hands to clear it off she added, "Anyway, sorry, going off topic. So yes, I said I was sorry but explained to him why I didn't like the idea. Namely because I thought that him looking at Kozue-chan would first hurt Maeko-chan, and two, piss off Oubai-san. The thing about Oubai is, even if Kanaye-senpai's family is well off, Oubai's father has a lot more influence in town. I have no doubt that Oubai-san would attempt to deal with Kanaye-san in his own way, or his father would make things very hard for him, as would Kozue-chan's family since, apparently her family likes Oubai-senpai."

"Sorry rambling again," Misaki looked flustered, "Well after I said that he said he didn't see why it was such a bad thing for him to have a physical relationship with Kozue-chan, and not a romantic one. Almost like saying, that he could just sleep with Kozue and still see Maeko-chan. Which would never work, since, well firstly Maeko-chan would get really really angry about it, Oubai-san would be very very angry about it, and well Kozue-chan, if it wasn't fun for her, she would probably push Kanaye-senpai away."

"I want to be friends with him, Seiko-chan, I honestly do respect him to a point, but his actions. The way he thinks, it's like...I mean I know that I've hurt a lot of people with my actions and I'm trying to make up for it. I don't want him hurting Maeko-chan anymore. But I don't know how to say to him, 'This is a really bad idea.' because he won't take it from me."

Seiko blinked a lot after listening to Misaki....ramble.

"Um, what are you talking about? Kanaye has done nothing wrong? At least not yet, but you decide to come and bitch at one of his close friends because you think he...and another teammate are essentially whores?"

Seiko had folded her arms irritated. She knew Kanaye was....well a bit difficult but she didn't like the girl's tone and that Misaki seemed to think this all was her business.

"Kanaye is a decent person, and whatever he does is his choice. I really like Maeko-chan, but it is their lives but not your's or mine." her tone was icy, whilst usually she didn't start conflict she wasn't going to have someone she cared about spoken about like that. And as for watching Kozue, even Seiko could appreciate the girl was pretty, so of course a teenage boy would stare, he was human after all.

"No no, you got it wrong. I don't think that at all," Misaki tried to explain and sighed. "I'm just worried that he's going to act on his impulses and just wind up in a lot of trouble."

She sighed, "I don't think they are that at all. I hate that word in the first place, and I'm not trying to bitch, I'm just worried that Kanaye-senpai's going to do something he will regret later with Kozue-chan. I don't want to see anyone hurt because of it."

Misaki looked at Seiko gently. "I'm really not trying to cause trouble Seiko-san, I just don't want him getting hurt more then he already has." She looked down at her feet, "My brother used to be very much the sort of guy that would just sleep around with girls and it got him into huge messes, and I don't want to see that happen to Kanaye-senpai. He's a good person, he likes Maeko-chan a lot, that much I can see."

"Why are you getting involved? Nothing has happened yet besides Kanaye looking at a girl. He is single so that is no problem, Kozue wasn't aware of it so she is not to blame. So what the Hell is it you are worried about?" Seiko sighed.

"Look it is nothing to do with me, I trust them to do as they like, so don't come to me accusing my friends of doing things they haven't done." Seiko shook her head in annoyance, she hated being ruffled, but these were her friends.

"Because I don't want to see people get hurt in the end because of one moment of letting their emotions overly trigger things that they shouldn't. I know what my shadow did to people becuase of emotions that I was pushing down, and I do trust them," Misaki explained and shook her head. "I just don't want to see people wind up in pain that they don't need to be in."

"I'm not accusing anyone of anything," Misaki said getting up and sighed. No one was seeing this at all, did they. "I just don't want to see bigger rifts happen, that's all. Things are already tense enough, and I just didn't want to see them be hurt more. Is it really a bad thing to want to keep people from making a big misake?"

"Maybe a way to not hurt people is to stop getting involved in their private business." Seiko replied folding her arms, she knew there was a reason she avoided this girl, she knew the girl probably meant well, but it wasn't a kind of behavior she could tolerate easily. She didn't mind so much being insulted, but when her friends were being slighted she felt she had to defend them.

"You do not trust them if you think they will sleep together just because Kanaye stared at Kozue, all men stare at Kozue! A lot of girls too!" she rubbed her temple. "I know that the group is unstable, but it isn't your business who sleeps with who or what happened. Do you think that maybe if you or I were to confront Kanaye or anyone else that would create a rift too?"

Misaki leaned back and sighed, "I do trust them, I just think that good people can make bad misakes."

She looked up at the sky and then got up, "I'll be seeing you okay Seiko-san. Sorry to have bothed you."

Seiko sighed. "Aoi-san, getting involved so much is what will make people upset. And it may hurt you too." Seiko's tone had softened a little, as she didn't want to hurt the girl she was just exasperated by how suddenly she had been approached and been rambled at, also she was a bit peeved her cheerful break in the sun had been .

"Just please, next time don't come and tell stories about my friends? I don't like arguing but Kanaye-kun is important to me."

"I understand that, and I'm sorry that I bothered you, but that's sort of why I did come to you though. Because I know that you two are good friends, and I thought that maybe he would listen to someone he cares about too," Misaki looked up and nodded.

"I should let you get back to resting, I'm really sorry Seiko-san."
