It was only 10am but Suzuki Suzume, big sister and/or energetic bane of everyone everywhere, had been up since 5. Which had, of course, likely been horrible for her roommate.

She'd sent out constant text messages since 7, with 'how to get there from pretty much anywhere in Iburi using public transport' instuctions, and arranged for Seiko to drive people who might have trouble with the train. She'd been trying to barter the entry prices down since 8, since they were a big party, and managed to get at least a small discount. After which a 'hey, say you're with Suzusuzu-nee and you'll get in cheaper' message went out. And she'd been blowing up and tying balloons since 9.

And now it was 10. And the park was open. And she'd been doing stretches and encouraging those who were there early to do likewise (warm up those muscles! The water might be cold!).

And now it was time to reap the rewards of her efforts.

Kozue in a swimsuit.

Awesome.

If Kanaye actually looked at her face, he would notice that her contacts were not in and she had light brown eyes. "You're protective isn't normal," Misaki splashed back. 	"Uh, oh sorry I was thinking of something else for a moment." She said and shook her head, "She won't listen though. Even if you told her she would say it was normal to not talk. Kanaye blinked. Then he realized what he said and blushed. "I-I mean, talking! I-I...Um." Kanaye quieted down. "I mean talking. Yes. We didn't do anything. At all. Of course not."

Still blushing, Kanaye nodded. "Yeah. And she won't accept help, so..."

Kanaye was too busy blushing, so he dived under the water. While there, he noticed Misaki's legs...

He grabbed one and pulled.

Misaki waited under water for a moment, musing at the fact that, suprisingly she was enjoying time with Kanaye. It was a bit odd to her that he could be fun when he wanted to be. That is when he wasn't being completely into his own world.

She hesitated for just a second, considering the choices, then grabbed hold of his leg from under the water and pulled hard swam as quickly as she could while holding his ankle with two hands. She let go after a minute coming up for air and smirked, "Tit for tat, Senpai."

"Alright I'm sorry that I got mad at you for stareing at Kozue, but I just find it rather rude in a way," Misaki explained. "I know they were, but there's a difference here Kanaye-senpai. Firstly, I know you still care a lot about Maeko-chan, and it worries me that if people see you looking at Kozue-chan too much then they will get the wrong idea. If things started to get around that you were seen watching her, how much do you want to bet that it will wind up all over school that you two are apparently dating. Not only would that hurt Kozue-chan with Oubai-senpai, because I don't think she cheats on her boyfriends, but it will hurt Maeko-chan because she likes you."

Misaki looked at him directly, "And to borrow something you said to me a long time ago, to her it would be like you were comparing her to Kozue-chan. You know how she thinks and acts. She'd probably start pushing you away more."

"Secondly," she lowered her voice so that he could only hear her, "You and I both know that it's less likely that Kozue-chan would like it if she knew that Renju-san was stareing. I get the sense that, she probably wouldn't appricate it. And more or less I know Kouze-chan wouldn't go after you, but...I don't know if she's doing so well with Oubai-senpai. I mean he's not the most, ah...passionate of people, so if you push her too much, she might fall back on you. And if you really are after Maeko-chan, how is that going to look to her."

"That is why I got mad at you." Misaki explained and rested her head at the edge of the pool. "If you were really over Maeko-chan I could care less who you stare at, but you still like her. Not only that, but would you really like it if some guys were stareing at her butt while she was walking down the hall. To be honest there were a few college guys admiring the view when she was walking with you earlier, and not in your nice way of admireing either."

Kanaye sighed and got back into the water. "First of all...I still care about Maeko-chan. I do. I...just..." Kanaye shook his head. "I don't know if I can wait for her. And everyone and their father stares at Kozue. She actively tries to make people stare at her." Kanaye shrugged. "I don't see how. She doesn't even know if she likes more or not. That's why we're not dating. I'm trying to wati for her."

"...You do realize that Maeko-chan's hotter then Kozue-chan, right? I mean, I don't stare at her because I don't think she'd like it. Kozue-chan likes it, so why shouldn't I stare?"

"I already told her. She didn't believe me. And...we're not together, anymore. So...I mean, it's still fine if me and Kozue-chan have a physical relationship, so long as I don't have any romantic attachment to her, right? Friends with benefits."

"...Somehow, I doubt that." Kanaye deadpanned. "Maeko-chan's hot, but she's not the kind of people college guys stare at."

"Well then don't be like everyone and their uncle, if you think that Maeko-chan is better looking then show it to her. Don't stare at someone else around her friends." Misaki explained, "Kozue-chan, I feel sorry for her. It's like watching my brother, I hate people calling her names. It doesn't define her personality or anything. The students here used to call my brother that a lot too, I don't know about kozue-chan, but even though he said it didn't bother him, he was still annoyed by it because any time he was serious about a girl she would just get annoyed and say he was out to play her."

"Because it gives people the wrong impression of you," Misaki said plainly. Her eyes went wide and she pulled her self out of the pool to face him. "No it's not okay to do that! Don't you realize, if you do that you will have Zero chance with Maeko-chan? It wouldn't matter that you don't have any romantic feelings for her. You'd be seen just like my brother was. A creep who only wants girls for sex and that's it. Do you really want that reputation Senpai? Are you out of your mind? Do you know that it took my brother years to get people to not think of him like that, and even now peers of his still think that he's dating other girls WHILE being engaged."

"Then you havn't been paying enough attentions to your surroundings. They look, she's in a swimsuit. You see a lot in a swimsuit senpai." Misaki crossed her arms arcross her chest and stared at him. "Guys will stare no matter what. It's in their nature to. You think Maeko's pretty right, well so do other guys."

	Kanaye sighed. "Whatever." He pulled himself out of the pool. "I'm here to play, not to have discussions on morality and psychology. Go talk to someone who cares." Kanaye walked off without another word. (Reply to this) (Parent)
