Who: Shou, Kojima, and whomever else likes parks.
What: Shou.
When: ???
Where: Park
Why: Shou.

There was something to Parks. Parks were great. Parks were quiet. Parks were usually desolate. Parks were where you could do whatever and nobody would give a shit. Well, most of them. You didn't really come to a park to break things, light shit on fire, and drink. No, the most usual amount of steps was to first was to walk there, drive there: whatever. Then, the second step was the easiest. You just stayed there. Sometimes you went to think, to read, to enjoy the bounty of nature. Whatever kind of metaphysical propaganda that was placed neatly into your head. Shou went for thinking.

There was a lot to think about lately. Thankfully, nothing he thought about was much worth dawdling on. He had a healthy supply of food, drink, narcotics, entertainment.. Life would have been perfect for anyone else. Could've been better for him. Lately, things were just getting boring. He'd been fired from his last occupation, this time was a record. Two months at the same place. Once more unemployed. Not that it really.. mattered. He had enough money flow to keep him alive for the rest of his days. It was more of a time absorption thing. It was something to do. Something to keep him busy. Now, he just need something else to keep him busy. And that was the second reason he was here.

A park was indeed somewhere to clear one's head. Norio had found it exceedingly useful to leave the confines of his home regularly to take walks there. Such activity was low-stress enough not to have too much impact on his health, and it allowed for him to be alone. People were nice... but every once in a while, a break from them could be worth it. His mannerisms could be looser. That careful guard over his identity didn't need to be held so closely in to his heart.

But mostly, it let him relax. At the moment, he sat underneath a tree a few feet off of the path, contentedly thinking about how he didn't have to deal with Kanaye or Gendou there. Until he noticed Shou, at least. He didn't say anything, but Norio couldn't help but watch the powerful-looking young man walking by. He unashamedly stared.

The amount of life in this park seemed to be.. low, well, completely low. There wasn't much he immediately noticed to get his mind off boredom. Trees, a couple benches here and there, well-cut park lawns.. A few kids playing on some nearby set of swings and the like.. With Parents watching closely by. A brief sigh escaped him. Was there nothing here? He might as well have stayed home and watched whatever was on. That was, however, until he turned around and spotted something that *was* worth interest. Somehow, he'd missed it on his first pass. Well, his mind had been wandering then. Not now, however. Now, it was focused on an opportunity he was determined to take advantage of.

Shou walked in the same casual manner backwards, except taking a turn towards the tree. He hadn't initially noticed the stare that the rather attractive looking woman had on him, and he didn't notice much else about her. His mind merely recorded the proper two pieces of information. 1) She was attractive, 2) She was alone. There was nothing else needed. And so, with all the wannabe-suave nature in the world, he came to where she sat. "Hey. Whyssa a girl like you all alone? Someone with your looks should have a ring of admirers around at all times."

Shou's backpedaling set off warning bells in Norio's mind, and he quickly averted his eyes so as to not seem overly interested. It paid off when the older man walked up to him, as the behavior could be passed off as a maidenly averted gaze, at least. Out of the corner of his eye, he scrutinized Shou's face. Not too shabby. He almost looked a bit like that Arai kid in his class.

"I'm alone because I'm hiding from all of my admirers. Getting flocked by them can be tiresome after a while, you know," Norio said, putting on his best "Noriko" voice and actions. "I suppose you must be an admirer, too, in that case."

At this distance, Shou could analyze her face at a comfortable degree. She kind of looked boyish. Not that it mattered. One thing that was remarkable was the woman's long, blue hair. It was so foreign amongst all the others: in its silky, drooping manner. He'd never seen anything like her before, with such an androgynous appearance. But it seemed to complete things.

Her words did provoke a touch of an increase to the playful grin on his face. She wasn't without a mind to match the material. So, Shou crouched down to match her sitting level. "I prefer the term appearance appreciator, but I can assure you I'm anything but tiresome."

He was flattered, truly. Despite his remarks earlier, Kojima didn't have all that many admirers at school. He was just a little too tall, a little too flat-chested, and above all a bit too scary. If you pissed him off, you ran the risk of getting exposed in a nasty newspaper article. So Norio decided to run with it.

"Appreciator, huh. That's a new one." He turned his head at an angle, so as to gracefully move the hair that fell over his left eye sweep out of the way, affording him a better look at his admirer.

"It fills me with hope to hear that you're not tiresome. Care to prove it? I love it when my preconceptions are challenged."

The grin that spread across his face would have been striking to some, for in it was some unknown amounts of presence. Just what was in the grin that made it so.. different was up for the viewer to decide. In Kojima's case, he was intrigued. For all purposes, Shou was relatively indifferent as to the nature of this woman's body. Tall, flat-chested: he didn't care. Scary: he was blissfully ignorant. There was no knowledge of anything to trip on. Yet, she had the face, the hair, and the mind. Where her body might have been lacking to some, everything upstairs was certainly not.

The very way she canted her head to the side so that the curtain of hair was cast aside only attested more to her knowledge of the steps to this dance. She might have been young, but she knew what she was doing. And that sarcasm sealed the flourish fashionably.

"Rising to the challenge is one of the things I do best. But, let me pick something about you to prove it." Shou, in turn, gestured to her hair, "Blue. Blue is a color, but it's also a meaning. Blue symbolism associates blue with freedom, strength and new beginnings. Blue skies are emblematic of optimism and better opportunities. Blue is the color of loyalty and faith. Blue is *power*. So: when I look at a person like you, with such blue hair.. I wonder. Are you powerful?"

Norio couldn't help but smile at Shou's little monologue. He was a bit of a showoff, but at least he was smart.

"Free, strong, loyal, powerful -so in short, blue is the perfect color for me." His grin was proud and smug as he brought one hand up to his chin. "I know that I'm powerful."

"But..." Now his eyebrows quirked upward. "Are you of a mind that you're powerful enough for me?" He liked to keep the upper hand, at least to a degree. Leading Shou on was a blast.

Fuyuki slowly was walking through the park. He technically prefered the fall, the summer was hell for him. Hot stuffy and also the dry season in terms of work. Sure there were the festivals but still, the work he normally did was resigned to lighting and presentation of a mixed varitiy of sounds and sensations. Taking a long sip of his drink, coffee, today with hazel nut and Irish cream, he proceeded to admire the branches that left lingering shadows on the sidewalk. Where he a man of any artistic merits he would have stopped and drawn them out with chalk, but he wasn't and the idea of doing so seemed to be silly.

The sophomore only lifted his gaze when he heard a familar voice near by and looked up to see Noriko talking to a man that was, older, then her, by a few years, he was sure, talking with her. Normally he wouldn't care who she talked to, her business and all, but something about the situation made him want to watch it more carefully. He wasn't sure if she needed some help, but just in case, he made sure that she could see him, should the need for an out arise.
