WHO: Kanaye, Kozue WHAT: Shopping~ WHERE: A mall. Junes, maybe? WHEN: Before Kozue leaves. WHY: Because Kanaye has a lot of money.
Kanaye tapped his feet. He was sitting on a wall on the outside of the mall, waiting for Kozue to come along. His wallet was full of money. It was Kanaye's dad's money, granted, but he had asked for it. And, technically, "It's for a girl I'm seeing!" is in fact the truth. Kozue is a girl, and he was seeing her. Just because "seeing her" also means "dating her" doesn't mean he doesn't see her. Normally, he'd pay out of his own pocket. He had gotten a part time job at a pound. He was just a desk clerk...thing, but a job was a job.
But he doubted Kozue would like the things he could buy her with his own money. And that's what parents are for, right? Giving you things that you use to make yourself more liked! It's an excellent job!
Besides, Kozue would probably need it. Kanaye still didn't think she wanted an omiai or whatever it was. It just sounded so...barbaric. Archaic. Pointless. Traditional. There was a difference between Kiriko and Kozue (for one, Kozue isn't a bitch,) but, to him, Kozue didn't seem like someone that would enjoy having her choices made for her. At the very least, she'd give her husband horns.
