Who: Tom and Misaki
What: Checking in on the sick one
Where: Tom's dorm
When: Probably after Masami's visited him
Why: Soup obviously.

"Hot hot hot," Misaki waved aside some first years that had come from the door to the boys dorm as she moved past them carrying a pot of very hot freshly made chicken soup. She'd run it over to the boys dorm hoping to talk to Tom and check up on the sick third year. After everything that had happened, even if he had done something foolish she knew that she probably would have done the same had she known about it earlier.

Heading up the stairs Misaki carefully balanced the pot in her hands and pondered the situations that had happened now with Renju's dungeon over. She was sure that Masami had a soft spot for the older boy, she didn't blame her, Tom could be impulsive but he did have a good heart. Something that Keiichi had as well, but at times his senses were a bit better placed. Getting to Tom's floor, and avoiding spilling the hot soup, was a bit of a chore but Misaki was determined.

She knocked on the door quickly and said, "Sempai, could you please open the door? It's Misaki and well, this pot is rather hot, and I really don't want to burn anyone with it...and my self either."

Tom was beginning to reconsider booby trapping his door, given how often people seemed to arrive at it these days. He'd spent most of the week in bed. With no one in Paradise, and no school, it meant Tom couldn't engage in any of his usual activities, at least not without a lot of work. And he wanted to not be sick anymore, so he figured he'd follow the encouragement of the rest of the team and just sleep it off.

Even he had to admit he was feeling better. So when he opened the door he looked a good deal less pale, and feverish. He still had yet to realize he might want to wear something other then the clothes he was sleeping in.

He blinked at Misaki and stepped aside for her to enter the room.

She smiled and, carefully, put a cloth down to set the pot on an open spot on the dresser, "Tada, warm chicken soup to help you feel better. How are you doing Sempai, I hope chicken is okay, I heard it helps when you're sick."

"But at lest you're getting sle..." Misaki was starting to say when she got a good look at Tom, minus his shirt, and turned around fast with a little yelp of suprise, "S-Sempai, please...shirt!"

	Tom looked down, to see if perhaps he had something on his chest. Seeing nothing he shrugged. Misaki was obviously not going to continue discussing until Tom put on a shirt, so he grabbed a t-shirt from the closet, and pulled it on. "There we go... what's up?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Misaki sighed some and blushed, "I'm sorry Sempai, it's just that I normally don't um...well...it's a bit odd to see a guy with a bare chest when I'm not related to him, or he's not swimming."

She shook it off and smiled again, "Anyway I wanted to check in on you. I hope you like soup. I also wanted to ask you about well, a few things. I'm hoping you can help me, because honestly I'm not sure where to go from here."

	Tom stepped over to the bowl and looked at it inquisitively. He smelled it and looked surprised for a moment. Then he looked at Misaki, and quirked a brow. "Well it's because you would be swimming and well you don't wear a shirt when you swim and um..." how could she get out of this without mentioning that he had a nice body? It was all to embaressing for the freshman.

"Well it's about the pendents. I was hoping to find out information from Hikaru-san, but that seems that that's probably not going to happen. But I want to try to figure out who sent them and why to just certain people. It doesn't make sense, three persona users and two non persona users? And only in the first two grades."

She sighed, "How are you feeling by the way? Is the cold going away by chance. Do you want some? I brought along a bowl?" Her eyes drifted to the box set with the dishes, "But it seems you already have them..." Misaki paused noting the books, "And why do you have a step thing?"

Tom frowned when she asked about the books. Usually Max would have come out to see w go was there. He dropped down to his knees and looked to find that Max had apparently found an empty food wrapper and was licking the remenants of the food left inside.

"Stop that! And get out here where I can see you."

Max came running out from under the bed, and ran over to Misaii his tail wagging. As soon as he knew she saw him, he ran up the books onto the bed and rolled onto his back for belly rubs.

Tom rolled his eyes at the puppy antics, and sat down at the desk.

"Mote then likely, the pendants were given to people outside of the team so that it'd be less suspicious. If only persona users were targeted, the fact that it was an attack would be more obvious, and you'd be less likely to accept them."

He grabbed a spoon off the desk top and dipped it into the hot soup.

"Oh my gosh! He's so cute! Is he yours Tom-san?" Misaki hurried over to the puppy and started to rub his belly. "He's adorable! Where did you get him? What's his name? Hello there little one I'm Misaki. You are so cute!"

Misaki sat on the bed petting Max, giving him belly rubs as she looked over at Tom. A small knowing smile came on her face, "The shadow hound I assume."

She paused and thought, "But why only those two classrooms and only Me, Toshi-chan, Shirou-kun, Kojima-sempai, Nayuki-kun? They were all about good health, but I don't see anything wrong about any of them."

"Also the thing that's bothering me about them is either. 1. The seller knew they would do that and sold them knowingly to a person that may or may not have intended to harm us. 2. The Seller didn't know, but the buyer did, which means that the buyer has more of an extensive knowledge of paradise then we do, which could be really really bad. Or," she looked nervous at suggesting this, "3. Which is that the pendents were harmless until the buyer did something to them to make them into shadows, which means that that person can manipulate the shadows. And...if that's the case what's to stop them from getting one of our shadows to kill us out here."

Misaki looked down at Max as she spoked, "I've been thinking about the shadows actions as of recently. From Oubai-kun's shadow to Mine, and now to Renju's they've been getting stronger and more phyisical with us. Renju's shadow nearly killed Keiichi and she really scared the heck out of us. I'm starting to think that, whoever is behind all this knows more about the shadows then we do. What if...what if they're really a shadow that replaced the real person? I mean, could that happen?"

"There is also the possibility that the buyer and the seller knew nothing. The pendants were given to the seller knowing that certain team members have purchased pendants from there before and it's all ridiculously random."

Tom shrugged, and leaned back in his chair.

"As far as our enemy goes, any number of explanations are likely. Paradise is a whole new place with laws that don't match up with this world.
Strictly speaking, We have yet to see the shadows of a victim outside of Paradise once the victim has died."

Misaki gave a nod and ran her fingers over Max's hair as she puzzled things out.

"Okay, so we have four theories to work with. If we assume the one you suggested that means that someone must have handled the pendents before, and thus set it up so that whoever bought those pendents would get them. That means they would have had to have spent a lot of time staking out the shop to do that, which doesn't seem like a good thing to do because Hikaru-san would have noticed that right?"

"The one theory that scares me is the one indicates that the person knows more about paradises then we do and knows how to manipulate the shadows. But..." she paused making sure things sounded right. "What if say the victim didn't actually die? What if the person realized they had a shadow and used the shadow to lure or do things, that they normally wouldn't do?"

She paused an looked at Tom, "Sagaki-sempai. What if a shadow had been the one to kill Sato-kun and Amori-sensei?"
