Who: Maeko, Kozue
What: MIDGET HUNTING
Where: The dorms
When: After the talk with Kanaye
Why: OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG HALP

Maeko couldn't resist the temptation to check her and Misaki's room to make sure everything was still in place. It was. Nobody had entered since they'd left.

That was a relief.

Paranoia subsiding, she half-ran to Kozue's door and knocked.

Kozue pulled the door open after a moment, and blinked at Maeko rather lazily. It seemed that she'd been napping; her hair was a bit askew and she had that fuzzy look of someone who is still only about half awake. What she was doing napping in the middle of the day was anyone's guess.

"Akuba-senpai? Hello. Nngh." She rubbed at her eye with a fist, remembered that that was probably impolite, and stopped. "Please, come in."

Maeko tried to figure out how she was going to word this. Still having not managed to work this out when the door openned, she pounced on the distraction when she saw it.

"Oh, are you okay? You're not ill or anything, right?"

" 'm fine," Kozue insisted, padding away from the door in her fluffy pink slippers. "I… there was a midnight movie showing and I went with some people and then…" she waved her hand vaguely. "Ugh, I think and then there was beer. And now I have spent the whole day in bed with a hangover." She had peered at the clock. Damn it, but it had been the whole day.

Well, it was summer break, right? That was the beauty of summer break!

She smiled, and fumbled for the glass of orange juice she'd been nursing for the last half-hour or so. "But I feel pretty much better. Thanks for asking. What's going on?" She took a long sip and was dismayed to find out that one long sip was all that she had left. Darn.

"Ah. I'm glad you're okay."

"I...sort of needed help. Senpai wants- senpai wants to-"

Flustered, Maeko's speech dissolved into hand gestures that had never been an official part of sign. And that were probably more universally understood.

"-and I'm okay with it I guess but I don't know what to do!" She trailed back in after about ten seconds frantic gesturing.

Kozue, to her credit, only giggled a little, and only when Maeko resorted to gesturing instead of actually talking. She did look mightily amused for the entire time, though, and continued to do so as she responded.

"So you want tips. I can help, I guess. What do you want to know?"

Part of her knew that forcing Maeko to be more specific was probably cruel; at the same time, however, it was going to help. If she couldn't bring herself to say something like 'have sex', the actual act was going to be a train-wreck. And it would help to know how much Maeko knew, anyway. And it'd be funny.

Maeko managed not to splutter with embarassment at Kozue's giggling. Giggling was better than yelling and idn't seem too malicious.

"Uh...buh- you know..." More embarassed gesturing. "I don't really know what I'm supposed to, you know, do...there was a special class on that stuff before but I wasn't really paying attention."

"The special class is totally useless," Kozue commented, making a dismissive face. "I mean, don't get pregnant." A pause. "Okay, you know how to not get pregnant. Right?"

Oh god if she had to cover birth control. Wasn't Maeko older than she was?

"Um, I know that part. They handed out a leaflet and I read it." And she had read it, feeling the whole time like it was something she shouldn't be doing. (This whole conversation really felt like something she shouldn't be doing.)

"Well, then, the rest of it is… well, you should do what feels good. The whole point is to enjoy yourself." She seemed quite matter of fact about it; part of this was relief at not having to explain the mechanics of human reproduction or something, but part of it was just. Well. This was how it worked.

"Um." That didn't really help at all. But Maeko was just kind of glad that maybe meant that the conversation was over. Kind of. Kanaye hadn't done this kind of thing before either, right? So she couldn't make that much of a fool of herself. "Thank you."

"Is there anything else you want to know?" Kozue offered, feeling as though she really hadn't given Akuba advice. Any substantive advice, at least. What had she come looking for, anyway?

"And I won't tell a soul, if that helps."

Maeko tried to think of something more specific. But not totally embarassing.

"What...what do I do if I start laughing." She said, voice falling to a mumble as she did.

...it seemed like the kind of thing that could potentially be a problem.

"He should... yeah, Satou-senpai won't take that very well." She could only imagine the damage it'd do to Kanaye's fragile ego. "Just say that you're happy. Very, very happy to be with him, and … nervous. Assure him that he's not funny."
