DATE STALKING....Sort of
Who: Misaki, Shojiro, any couple in D! that wants to be shadowed
What: Shadowing couples to learn about proper dating.
Where: Where ever they can locate couples
When: Pre-Tom dungeon some time in the evening.
Why: Practice Practice practice

Misaki hurried down the street to the bakery that was there. She stepped inside and checked to make sure that her phone and such was in her bag as she walked over. Simply dressed in a green sundress with a sweater on so she wouldn't look too obvious to the people they were trailing, she quickly walked over to Shojiro who was waiting for her.

Smiling cheerfully she waved as she walked over and quickly ordered some sweet bread to take with her as they walked. "Hey, I was worried I was running late. You look good Sensei." Misaki took out a notepad, "I got you one incase you wanted to take notes or anything. So where shall we look for couples first to follow?"

	Kanaye smiled. "Well, I am good at being loud. Very good at that. You don't seem the type that would enjoy Karaoke, though." He held out an arm. "Of course we will, Maeko-chan. Let's go." And with that, he started walking. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"I've never tried it before, It seems like it would be fun, though!" Kanaye was correct, though she intended to try her best to enjoy it. She wasn't accustomed to being loud. Territory again. 	"Oh, trust me, it is! And even if we get bored of that, we still have each other, right?" Kanaye refused to elaborate on his statement, preferring to walk in silence, just enjoying Maeko's company. Misaki leaned against the wall of a store near the karaoke place and pulled out her pen, and whispered to Shojiro.

"It appears that being loud in relation to enjoyment means that you link arms with someone and walk. Apparently the lady goes first through a door while a man holds it. But that's pretty much the norm."

Misaki added, to her notes, "Subject seems to be implying something that seems out of the norm with his later comment. I'm not sure if he's being serious or just silly."

"Hmm male suject's motives seem suspicions, pay close attention to any comments with unusual pauses or implications." he nodded at her and then frowned as they followed as sneakily as unsubtle people could.

"Relation between being loud and enjoyment needs further observation, however choosing a date that suits the other person more than yourself seems to get a good reaction." All the time he spoke he made careful detailed notes, with special abbreviations and quick diagrams.

"Normally I don't think she would want to go to some place like that. It's more suited for someone with a louder personality. Maybe a compromise would be best, rather then just going to where one person will be happy, find something both would want to do?" Misaki asked him.

She looked over his diagrams and grinned, "You're still a better note taker then I have ever been Shojiro-kun."

	He gave her a sly thumbs up. "We better get inside, it may be complicated to watch them do their karaoke unless we time this perfectly." If anyone other than Misaki was there they would probably tell him to tone down the 007 act, however he seemed to be having fun, so maybe that would be cruel. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Misaki nodded geefully and took his hand to hurry in after two other people walked in with their dates. She wanted to keep a distance but it was just enough so that they could still watch.

"Hummm, they'll probably get a private room, how to counter this? Maybe we should act like we came here to wait for friends and ask them to sit in to see how it's done?" Misaki whispered to him.

"Thank you." Maeko said, nodding and heading through the door.

She'd already called the place in advance to make sure the rooms weren't all already booked because it would be a disappointment if one wasn't available. She didn't regret it, the place seemed quite crowded. She doubted Kanaye would suspect she'd chosen this place deliberately because of the owner's race but she hoped while they headed to the room that it made him feel more comfortable here somehow.

Kanaye whistled as he looked around. He didn't really think Maeko was one to pick very crowded places to go on a date, but this just makes her better in his eyes. Looking around, he did, in fact, notice the owner's race. It didn't exactly make him feel more comfortable, but he did feel better.

He squeezed Maeko's hand as he walked towards the room. "This place is nice. Good pick, Maeko-chan!"

Maeko squeezed back, looking around until she found the right room. It was small, meant to hold a group of four or so comfortably. The note on the inside of the door said, above the instuctions, that it could hold up to six but unless that was taking into account someone always standing to sing or assuming everyone was built like Yoshimi that seemed like it would be awfully cramped.

"Um, have you ever done karaoke before? I'm not really sure how it works..."

	Kanaye looked around and smiled. Small spaces were AWESOME when you're with someone you love. "Yeah, I have. It's usually at a party, and not a karaoke place, but I did come to one of these places once. Usually, alcohol is involved, but..." He shrugged and started looking around. "Darn, they went into a room. There has to be a way to follow them." Misaki muttered and pulled out her money to pay, but Shojiro quickly paid for both of them and was given a tag to put on a door that they were in.

Walking along Misaki paused when she found a small closet sized door next to the room where Maeko and Kanaye went in. She jiggled the handle and found it to be open. "Hummm, odd..."

She pulled and found it open. Looking inside she saw there was a dark room in there with a set of mirrors that looked in on the two rooms.

"I guess they use this in case the people get rowdy or try something that might wreck the machines," Misaki said going in. She smiled, "Hey we can see Maeko chan and Sempai."

	"But we're not trespassing Sempai? We paid, and we're allowed in the building...so...um...I wouldn't call it trespassing as using a mistake to our advatage. That wasn't really very helpful at all, so Maeko decided to carefully read the instructions instead.

Finally convinced she knew what to do, she turned the machine on and (it wasn't as complex as the written-for-idiots instructions would make it seem) managed to get to the 'select a song' part without incident. Then she froze for a second.

"You can go first!" She said upon recovering. "I'm still not sure how it works, so..."

Kanaye nodded happily. "Of course, Maeko-chan. I'd be happy to!" He walked over to the machine and started looking through songs, mumbling under his breath as he did so. "No...I don't like it...that's sung by a woman...not gonna sing that in front of Maeko-chan..."

After a minute or two, his eyes lit up and he smiled. "This is my favorite show!" Kanaye pressed the button, and as he walked to the mic, he smiled at Maeko. "This is the opening theme to my favorite show ever!"

And he started singing the newest Super Sentai opening.

	Misaki stared in suprise by this, "He's singing...a super sentai song? Um...Is that...I mean...er..." She wasn't sure to laugh at the insanity of it, or be in awe of Kanaye's idiotic courage to sing such a song to Maeko. Either he was very brave, or very stupid. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Kanaye had been right. He couldn't sing. But then Maeko was not really the best judge of these things anyway. And it wasn't like she'd be any good either. So she tried to disguise her giggling as just smiling at the song. "That was great!" She cheered at the end, applauding and finally letting herself laugh at it." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Okay, I'll try..." Maeko said, suddenly a lot more apprehensive about this than she should have been given that the only person around was her boyfriend.

She selected one of the few songs she knew, something that had played on the radio a few times while she was working at Kigakiga.

She didn't sing particularly badly, she was mostly in-tune. But her voice never rose above a mumble and she sang far too fast and she forgot the words even though they were right there.

	Kanaye didn't care. To him, Maeko sounded like an angel from above. "Maeko-chan, that was beautiful! Much better then me, I have to admit." He walked over to Maeko and hugged her. "You sounded like..." Upon realizing that "angel" was not a good comparison, he decided on "a goddess!" "So, Maeko-chan, do you want me to sing again, or will we just spend some time together?"
