Who: Shojiro and any students.
When: After classes.
Where: History classroom.
What: One on One study sessions, for the ones lagging and the gifted ones.
Why: Kids need their booksmarts.

Shojiro sat in the History classroom, regular lessons had finished, but as the Teaching Assistant he ran special sessions for those students who were falling behind, but also those who were considered particularly bright. Usually the students were fairly well behaved, but with holidays approaching all they seemed to do was try to divert him from teaching them. He knew they had been having to work hard, so he was lenient as long as they listened to him for a while. After all even he got a bit bored of teaching students who were thinking more of holidays and their social life than History , he straightened his noted and smiled a little with a yawn> In truth he wanted a nap , but he‘d pulled the desk over a little into a patch of sunlight and lent back waiting for his first student to come in.

He‘d been a student at the school the year before, so he knew a few of the students as friends, so he could understand how impatient they were and how they wanted to get out and have fun. But then again his idea of fun was different from their‘s, as usually for fun he studied, but he could appreciate how they wanted to get out. He smiled again and looked over at the door hoping that his first student would be on time today.

	Misaki paused, this wasn't a subject she was really into talking about and then shrugged, "She's...okay. We've been having problems. But you know...girls fight and stuff right? "Well we've been fighing a lot lately and...I'm worried about her, or rather who she's dating." Misaki softly explained and paused, "I don't know if she would like me talking about it even. I just...I said something to her that upset her and I really don't know why it did. Apparently I likened drinking to suicided some how."

Misaki played with her hair nervously. She felt rather guilty telling him about this, but at the same time it felt better to just talk about it with someone whom she knew rather then just...letting it sit and fester.

"You are worrying because Kanaye-san is a bit...different right?" he sighed, "I heard rumors that he drinks a lot, but then again he is a student, when I was here people did that, it isn't unusual." he shook his head. "If you are tactless about her boyfriend she is going to get a bit annoyed isn't she? I mean if she said something about Keiichi you'd be upset?" he put his hand on her shoulder comfortingly for a moment.

"But what else did you say?" he said very gently, looking into her eyes with his.

Misaki paused and thought a moment then nodded some, "Well yes, but...I'm not trying to be nasty about it. He was just...when he drinks he acts really weird and I'm just bothered that it'll make people think bad things about Maeko-chan, that's all. I know it might seem selfish but I don't want her to get a bad reputation. It's bad enough people say things about Kozue-chan, and I can't stand that. But I don't want those people saying things about my Maeko chan."

Misaki blushed deeply and sighed some, "Sempai...I...I don't know. I can't remember everything. I just...I said, I told her that I love her. But...I don't even know if that's true or not. I'm not even sure if I told her that because I don't want to share her with Kanaye-sempai, or if I'm just terrified I'm going to loose her again. I really don't want that."

"You...love?" he frowned. "Like proper love?" he shook his head.

"You are too hard on Kanaye from what I hear he isn't the worst there could be, and people won't think anything of Maeko because she is with Kanaye, that doesn't mean she is him or does the same things as him." he stared at Misaki, he was sympathetic but a little confused, after all what she was saying made little sense really.

"Well that's the thing, I don't know, honstly. I've known her for five years Sempai, and before that I...well we weren't really friends." Misaki paused and looked down then slowly up at him, "You...You really think they won't? I mean...but...what do I do sempai. How do I stop from feeling so upset when I see him with her?"

She folded her hands and sighed, "Maybe it's because she's really, outside of you, was the first real friend I had. Maybe I just don't want to loose that. Because she, she wanted to stop being friends for a while then said that she wanted to be friends. I just don't know, it's all rather confusing to me. Then with Keiichi-kun. Sempai said I'm going to be compared to Kozue-chan since he went out with her before. And I really don't want that, because I'm not Kozue-chan."

Misaki blushed, "Does this make any sense?"

Shojiro thought for a few moments. "Well I'm really no expert on this Misaki-san, but surely Maeko-san is old enough to look after herself." he sighed.

"I'm touched you consider me a friend like that, no one will compare you to anyone Misaki, you are a bright cheerful girl who clearly is someone within her own right." he grinned brightly, seeming genuine and somewhat like a child in expressing his opinions without worrying about the implications

Misaki shuddered, "You really think I'm acting like that? No wonder she's getting mad at me. I'm being a horrible friend then. What do I do? I mean...it's just I can't trust him. No matter what I've done it's harder to trust him then it is say someone like Shirai-kun. And he's a Yakuza."

Putting her head on her hand she thought a moment, "Well Kozue-chan said I needed practice and you're one of the few guys that I know. So...maybe we can go on a date to see what your supposed to do? Or follow someone who's going on a date around town to see what they do?"

"I don't mean to stalk anyone. That would be horrible. I mean follow them and just watch what they do and take notes. Then kinda do what they do. Like...like how some people are told to shadow someone to do a job. You follow them around to see how they do something. It'll help both of us right. That way if you do find someone you like and want to go out, you'd know what to do." Misaki smiled brightly.

	Shojiro stared. "So not stalking...." he said slowly. "Well I don't know...I don''t know many couples really." he pulled a face. "I don't know many girls who are really, I don't know nowadays girls all seem a bit...I don't think they'd suit me." he didn't add his general fear of dating, he didn't want Misaki laughing at him too. "Nope, not stalking!" Misaki determined. "Well the few I know are, Maeko-chan and Satou-sempai. Um...Kozue-chan and whoever she's dating, and um...Shirou-kun and Yoshi-chan. That's about it. Maybe we can follow one of them?"

Misaki smiled cheerfully, "I'm sure there are nice girls that you would like Shojiro-san. It takes time I guess...you have to get to know the person to really learn to like them. That's why I'm glad I got to know Keiichi-kun before I said yes to going out with him." She patted his hand, "I'd go out with you if I could."

Shojiro blinked a few times moving his had away slightly. "Um thanks Misaki-san...I think?" he answered in a strange tone, was that a normal thing to say? He had no idea and no one to ask about it, he filed it away in his head as something to look up.

"Well I guess we could have a look at someone having a date, as long as we don't you know...upset anyone..." he said with a frown. "I mean we are only having a look right?"

"You're welcome. I mean you're a great person. I don't see why any girl wouldn't want to go out with you. You're really friendly and sweet, and you're really smart and funny. That's all I ment by that, someone like me would really be happy going out with someone like you Shojiro-kun." Misaki tried to explain it better, seeing as his reaction was a bit on the troublesome side. She hoped it wouldn't worry him too much.

Nodding she smiled cheerfully, "Of course! I mean unless they're doing something that we shouldn't watch them doing, or something. But Yes, we're just going to watch and see what they're doing. Ah...kind of like how some scientests watch a plant grow or something over time and take notes. We're just seeing what they do and that way we would know what to do on dates."

	Shojiro nodded not entirely sure he trusted what she was saying, he tried to take it as a compliment, after all he was smart, he knew that. But it was still strange. "Like an experiment? "Well would this weekend be okay? Since that's when most people go out on dates?" Misaki asked with a smile on her face. It made the most sense to her seeing that the weather would be clear, but a part of her frowned some, clear days also ment that they would have to deal with the whole issue of someone going off to paradise. She shuddered at that thought and grew quiet for a moment, then just as quickly shook it off.

"By the way Shojiro-kun, what was it like Graduating from here?"
