Who: Shojiro and any students.
When: After classes.
Where: History classroom.
What: One on One study sessions, for the ones lagging and the gifted ones.
Why: Kids need their booksmarts.

Shojiro sat in the History classroom, regular lessons had finished, but as the Teaching Assistant he ran special sessions for those students who were falling behind, but also those who were considered particularly bright. Usually the students were fairly well behaved, but with holidays approaching all they seemed to do was try to divert him from teaching them. He knew they had been having to work hard, so he was lenient as long as they listened to him for a while. After all even he got a bit bored of teaching students who were thinking more of holidays and their social life than History , he straightened his noted and smiled a little with a yawn> In truth he wanted a nap , but he‘d pulled the desk over a little into a patch of sunlight and lent back waiting for his first student to come in.

He‘d been a student at the school the year before, so he knew a few of the students as friends, so he could understand how impatient they were and how they wanted to get out and have fun. But then again his idea of fun was different from their‘s, as usually for fun he studied, but he could appreciate how they wanted to get out. He smiled again and looked over at the door hoping that his first student would be on time today.

Shojiro smiled back at Gendou but raised an eyebrow. "If I did that I imagine I would probably be chastised by the other teachers for letting a student influence me."

He pulled out some sheets paper with various notes from Gendou's teacher about what needed improving, schools couldn't function without the paperwork after all.

"We won't be too long, so you'll be able to get out soon." Shojiro promised with a smile, even he wanted sitting out in the sun with a book, maybe even have a nap or find Misaki or another friend for a chat.

"Oh come now, you can't be serious. I mean...it would be fun, wouldn't it? To be outside, in the heat...and I hear you have a nice view of the track from there," he winked some about the senior girls track run.

Gendou made a face, "Humph, and you're only a year older then me Sempai. Now really! Is this fair to treat the Student council president in such a manner?"

"As fun as it would be I'd get into trouble." he shrugged with an apologetic look. "I of course it would be nice to be outside, but the teachers don't really look too kindly on it. Besides it may be worse with you as Student President, after all if they think you persuaded a teacher to break school rules it would look bad right?" he sighed and looked out the window.

"Wait why would anyone want to look at the track?" he asked confused, completely not understanding Gendou's wink.

"But what's one bit of trouble over a lifetime? It's simply a question of you not wanting your pupil to sleep while in the classroom. And, quiet frankly, with the warm air, it will do wonders for our lungs. A healthy body as they say, will make you a happy man." Gendou smiled cheerfully then lost his smile. His plan wasn't working. Didn't straight guys like looking at girls running?

"Well it's such a lovely feild, and the work that crew does on it is so grand that it's a nice thing to watch. Or we could watch clouds...clouds are good."

Shojiro sighed, he was beginning to wonder why he had wanted to be a teaching assistant so badly, his students were nearly his age, which meant it was pretty hard for him to have any authority over them, especially with the sun shining.

"Why not just get your work done here then you can go out and be with your friends." Shojiro tried, after all no student would want to hang out with staff outside surely? Even if they were 'working' it would look strange.

"I didn't realise you liked fields so much..." Shojiro mused.

"Alright how about I make you a deal then, if I get this work done here, for our break we go outside. What do you say to that?" Gendou was not one for letting small things like 'instutionalized rules' ruin his summer time. Pulling out a pen he smiled, "So where shall I start, Sensei?"

He said the word with almost a sing song voice as if to say, you still have a lot to do to get me to okay things.

"Oh of course I do. The track is so...interesting," he smiled some hoping that if Shojiro was too busy watching girls he would have time to send some texts to Kin about what to do when they had time off.

Oh Sho, why are you so wet?

Shojiro sighed, "Fine we can have a five minute break outside, but if there is trouble I am telling them it is all your fault." he said with a small smile, seeming a little more relaxed now they had a compromise, he didn't particularly like conflicts.

"What in particular are you having trouble with?" Shojiro asked, flipping through the folder for Gendou's class trying to find the notes on Gendou's studies. "These sessions are meant to be to help you in whatever you think your weaknesses are."

Shojiro frowned slightly, why would anyone have an interest in the track like that? Maybe he understood his students less than he thought.
