Kazuya observed quietly, and with a sort of pseudo-amusement as Toru set off on the mini-adventure of finding the first aid kit. He'd been surprised, shocked, even.. But he hadn't questioned him at all about the injuries' origins. Kaz had expected some curiosity, some sort of demanding as to what had harmed him so. But only the quiet understanding. It was.. well, the only word that came to mind was sweet. Maybe that was one of the reasons while he felt comfortable around Toru. It was the kind of mannerisms he held. They were gentle in every way.
However, it was a regret that Toru had to see him like this. Surely, there was distress evident and questions (even if they were not voiced). It was unfair for such stress to be placed upon him. He'd already listened to the breakdown.. He should deserve peace. But, he didn't seem to mind at all. He was already fishing out an assortment of medical tools and accessories. Just the way he operated in silence, his hands laying out the necessary items. It was.. well, cute wasn't the word, nor was adorable. It was something near lovely. Especially the way he voiced his unsteady thoughts on how the treatment should be administered. Kaz wouldn't have minded in the least if it had simply been some damp cloth, or even a dry tissue trying to clean his wounds. All the same, the watered down mixture was.. well, admittedly soothing. The hot, uncomfortable pain of his face now at last received some sort of countering coolness and respite.
"Yes." It was a quiet confirmation, but it seemed somehow appropriate to speak in softer tones. "Thank you. You've been very kind to me." The natural, formal tone began to override his method speak. "I'm sorry for burdening you with my condition. You don't have to do too much, really. I'll be alright if I can just get the bandages retied." He attempted to sound reassuring, at the very least imply that Toru did not have to fully continue care. But it was.. touching. To have someone take care of him in such a gentle manner. Was this what visiting a hospital was like? Although, admittedly, no Hospital would ever have such a wonderful staff member as Toru. Even if he wasn't the most experienced.. Affection filled that gap, didn't it?
