Tom walked into the schools paper office, and moved to find Kojima, the other student was not hard to locate, and Tom didn't feel inclined to beat around the bush so he nodded.

"Kojima, I have been seized by a sudden impulse! I would like to work for the paper as an investigative reporter."

For a moment, Norio just sort of stood there and stared at Tom. Why was the crazy American in here? Why was he asking to work for the school paper? Why the sudden impulse? He gave the other student an appraising look, and then responded in a tone he thought appropriate.

"Whether for a good reason or by random impulse, it's still just good that you want to join! We, uh... only have five members, counting myself. So count yourself a member of the team, now!"

He took a moment to size Tom up, walking back and forth. "Do you have any ideas about things you'd like to write about? Because we do have a list of potential topics, if you're stuck for ideas..."

	Tom slipped his hand in his pockets and shrugged a bit. "I was going to do a piece on the schools reaction to all the deaths that have happened. And maybe profile Ishino-sensei." Tom put his hands out, and made his tone rather dramatic. "The woman at the center of it all." (Reply to this) (Parent)
