Who: Toshi, open
Where: The pool.
When: A day or two after the team arrives, afternoon
What: Swimming.
Why: Because free pool!

No, it wasn't the ocean. But it'd been so long since Toshimi had gone swimming (because someone had thankfully vetoed the swim-wrestling unit of gym class) that she was more than happy just to get into the water. Her bedroom had thoughtfully provided her with both her t-shirt-shorts-wetsuit from home and a few choices of newer, decidedly less athletic swimsuits. She thought it might look silly to wear a wetsuit in an a swimming pool, so she opted for a green-and-blue striped bikini; much too flimsy for surfing, but fine for this. She would try the waterslide later; for now she found her way to the deep end and jumped in.

The feeling of the water rushing her, overwhelming her, lasted only as long as her downward momentum; the swimming pool lacked the ocean's urgent rush and hungry grip. Toshimi didn't move. She floated comfortably to the surface, and marveled at how everything moved, but everything was still at the same time.

It wasn't the ocean, but Toshi thought, she could get used to this.

Isao had never been a big swimmer. It wasn't that he disliked swimming so much as it was just one of those things he never really did. In fact, he felt diving would probably be pretty easy given the fun he used to have on teeterboards, but he still just didn't immediately head for the pool so soon. Instead he wandered about the kitchen and common room in the short time they had been staying in the Butterfly Dorm. He couldn't help but wander into new territory when his curiosity egged him on though.

Ever since he found some new, clean pajamas in his room, he had taken the shameless liberty to wander around all day in them. So, obviously, he wasn't at all dressed or prepared for swimming as he had mainly just wandered into the rec area out of the curious desire to know who was using it. It was always nice to seek out people to talk with, and when he saw Toshi he felt comfortable enough to plop himself down by the pool, setting down the cup of pudding and spoon he was carrying with him only long enough to roll up his pajama pants and stick his feet in the water.

"So even the pool is a perfect temperature, huh?"

Masami had never gone swimming much in the past, but that was due more to not really having the chance frequently than her not liking it. On the contrary, she really did like swimming, and thus she was more than happy to take advantage of the butterfly house having a pool.

She stepped into the pool area wearing the same red sports bikini that she'd worn during the summer beach trip before(it'd been among the things she found in her closet), and found Toshi already in the pool, with Isao sitting at the edge with his feet in the water.

"Good afternoon," she greeted with a bow to both of them.
