Toru was situated on another one of the beanbag chairs, which was naturally too small for him. His long legs stuck out awkwardly towards the center of the room, but he made the most of his seating arrangement and settled deeper into said chair.
He looked over at Kiriko, trying to parse her apology, and then at the other two who had spoken.
"Well," Toru quietly started, "I... I'm sorry, too. After we talked to that shadow, it was obvious- neither of the options the angel gave us was right. They divided us when we needed to stay together most."
At this, he drew his legs in and held them close, awkwardly compacted on top of the squishy chair. "...and I really helped divide us. 'm sorry."
Gulp. "...'m especially sorry to you, Shirai-san. I said some dumbass things to you near the end- a-and I definitely deserved to get punched."
