Cellphones and the like.
WHO: Tom and Isao
WHAT: New cellphones are a good thing maybe.
WHERE: UUUM. We'll go with Kigakiga?
WHEN: Sometime after dungeons, but before the start of classes.
WHY: Isao needs a new phone and Tom is a great supplier of equipment.

No classes right away meant there was very little for Isao to do outside of the not-so-fun random escapades he went on with that group. When Tom contacted him to meet somewhere, he didn't really have an excuse to say no as a result. He didn't really know the other boy well, so reading that he had something for him seemed kind of weird. But... free stuff was cool? Whatever it was. He was always optimistic about getting things.

The meeting place had been his choice. During his time away from school, Isao had sort of missed going to Kigakiga with his usual lunch group. So, he figured there would be no harm in meeting up there. Food and social interaction just sort of went together, after all.

He sat at an empty table with a cup of... tulip and squid ink with wasabi? He half wished he hadn't asked the person behind the counter to surprise him, but it would do to keep him occupied until Tom arrived.

Tom moved to Isao quickly and quietly. It was more force of habit to move unnoticed then to move in an obvious manner.In fact it took conscious effort to actually announce his presence and while he would do it with close friends who had yelled at him about sneaking, Isao he hadn't really spoken with much, and so making himself a target didn't feel needed just yet. When he got close enough he spoke.

"Shimohama-san. thanks for meeting me."

Isao had been looking down at his ice cream when Tom entered the picture, but his head shot up at the sound of the voice. Good god, this guy was a ninja. There was really no other explanation for it. He raised an eyebrow at him, but was more fascinated by that sort of talent than annoyed. So, he didn't complain.

"No problem. There's not much else to do with the school being closed and all," he admitted, putting another spoonful of odd flavored ice cream into his mouth. "So what's this about?"

Tom slid into the seat next to Isao, and he raised his arm, and leaned it on the table next the the boy's ice cream. In his hand was a new phone. Not a sophisticated smart phone, but certainly one that could be used for text messages and phone calls.

"It's one of those pay as you go phones. Cheap, and disposable should you get a new one, but this should hold you until then."

Isao leaned away from Tom when he sat next to him, and blankly stared at the phone he was holding. Right... Tom had been around when he had given up his phone. It wasn't that big of a deal to him at the time and he didn't think it had bothered the others. Honestly? It was partially a comfort to him. That thing made him uneasy and it wasn't like he had to have it to help them out. He did have other weapons after all.

"You really didn't have to worry about it." He knew that Tom meant well, but he wasn't going to thank him right away. Not when he thought that it had been nice to not have it hanging over him for awhile.
