Entry tags:masami, misaki, post seiko dungeon, tea shop

Who: Misaki and Masamai
What: Drinking tea
Where: The tea shop
When: Post Seiko dungeon
Why: To Relax and chat.

Misaki sat by the window waiting patiently, or at least appeared to be. In her hands lay a white napkin that she folded and unfolded several times in a proper pattern. Up and down to the side, then up again and to the opposite side, then down. The slow process was taking her mind off things and she realized she'd done it at least twenty five times in the exact same order. The motion took off some of the tension she was feeling and let her breath some.

She was waiting for Masami, after all it made sense to try to get back slowly and who better then Masami to start with? She was kind, honest, and serious, not someone that jumped to emotional conclusions. It would be harder with the others but she could, at least, make an effort. She'd let herself fall so far into her own depression that she didn't see she was cutting off from the others. Which wasn't the safest of things.

So here she was, waiting, and folding and feeling nervous like it was the start of freshman year all over again. Hopefully she could get friends back. Misaki looked out the window at the people recalling the shopping trips. Had she honestly enjoyed those, or were they just part of the image she had been trying to keep up. She didn't remember anymore and honestly now it didn't matter. She wasn't about to put the mask back on. Dumb sweet Misaki, that's how people saw her. True she could be sweet, but she didn't like the dumb image, it felt like she was some bimbo that was used only for looks and nothing more in the dramas she watched.

Reaching up she looked over the menu again to select a tea to try, something a bit bitter would be a nice change. Maybe she could learn to enjoy the taste of it.

Misaki looked up and nodded, glad that her waiting had paid off. She smiled softly and nodded, "Yes it has hasn't it. I'm...doing better. I still feel bad that I haven't been around enough."

She fiddled the the napkin and looked at her, "How about you? "

"I've been..." Masami paused, "OK."

That was the best answer that Masami was really willing to give. Truth be told, 'OK' definitely did not describe her at the moment, but she wasn't sure she was quite ready to talk about it. She feigned distraction by looking at the menu's assortment of teas, though she'd already decided on trying that pheromone tea again.

Misaki gave a nod slightly and stared at the lace of the table cloth for a moment. "Seiko-san's dungeon. What did you make of it?"

"I was going to try a slightly bitter tea. I was reading that it can ah...steady the mind and calm the nerves." Misaki said kindly.

"Yukizaki-senpai's area? It was... weird," Masami began, pausing figure out how to put things into words, "Like, it was weird even for that place. Most of the other areas were generally consistent, but this one was... well, really out there. Also... no, never mind." She was going to say more, but in the end she couldn't quite bring herself to do it. Her own feelings weren't important compared to the task itself.

She resorted to changing the topic in an attempt to distract Misaki. "I'm going to try their Pheromone Tea blend again. It's a really unusual combination, but it's interesting to me because of that. If you want something on the bitter side, try a black tea, or maybe a strong oolong."
