Kai recognized who it was almost immediately, given that he had made the costume (and was proud as could be of the questionable design). A wide grin spread from ear-to-ear as soon as he saw Kouki, and it did not disappear once throughout the entire performance.

He laughed a few times, bubbly noises just barely concealed by the hand he put over his mouth, but it was more out of infectious happiness both from Kouki's performance and their moment backstage earlier.

"Woo! Go, Mara-chan!" he yelled as loud as he could towards the end of the performance, pumping his arms up in the air to accompany it. He had promised to be Kouki's cheering section, after all.
