WHY: Because Yoshi's stuck in three vending machines... at the same time.

Yoshimi sighed, wishing, not for the first time, that she could at least rest her arm for a minute. What had started as a simple mission (buy Bromonade, get pumped, attend own Nanakamado Idol debut) had rapidly spiraled out of control; as it stood, her curtain call was in half an hour, her arm was hopelessly stuck in the vending machine in front of her, and her feet were caught in a pair of vending machines set catty-corner to her.

After struggling for a few minutes, she'd given up on hoping for some random bystander to find her within a reasonable amount of time and had texted Toru for help, but that still left her with nothing to do but wait. And waiting, she decided after another failed attempt to get comfortable, always sucked.

"Vampire Princess Tacchin!" Yoshimi announced, only prevented from posing dramatically by the fact that she was still stuck in two vending machines. "Like the princess in Blood Tango, if you follow that. She's all delicate and beautifully tragic, and I think there's an untapped target audience that's really into that." The fact that nothing about Yoshimi herself seemed to match this description didn't seem to have occurred to her yet.

Once her feet were firmly back on the ground, she braced herself against the remaining vending machine and yanked her arm out, Bromonade in hand. "This," she said, indicating the hard-won bottle, "is going to taste like victory. And electrolytes. And natural and artificial strawberry flavoring. But also victory. ...thanks for coming out here to help me, Toru-kun."

"O-oh... well, I think I read a doujin for that once... and I've seen the art before. I can see what you're getting at! Tank-senpai wanted me to look like Riku-kun from Heartless, s-so... yeah." With some mixture of embarrassment and slight pride, he tugged at the cat ears and tail.

"D-do you think they get the right effect across?" From his body language, he was clearly less worried about the cat accessories and more about the terribly short shorts he was wearing.

Toru stood up along with Yoshimi, and nodded approvingly. "Bromonade, huh. Sounds like it was worth it! Ehehe." He seemed a bit sheepish, but at least proud. "It's no problem, er, 'Tacchin'! That's what teammates are for, right?"

Out of the corner of his eye, Toru regarded the clock. "Oh man, w-we need to get going! The idol introductions are going to start pretty soon, I think..."
