Who: Kiriko and Toru.
What: A phone call.
Where: Phone...space?
When: The evening after she hears about Kazuya.
Why: Someone needs to be responsible about these things.



Kiriko leaned back from the laptop with her knuckle pressed to her lip. Her narrowed eyes flashed over the article she had been reading again, though this time she was looking through it more than at it. There was an unfortunate lack of details, really - mention of the little brother, "possible abuse allegations," and no word on what might have become of him.

And naturally, no word on the status of one of her more fragile teammates.

He was living alone now, she recalled as she fished her phone out of her bag. And there wasn't anybody she could really count on to check in on him and make sure things were fine, was there? He'd have information anyway. She flipped open the phone and grimaced, then glanced at the clock. It was late enough, but... Stupid limited texting plan.

She scrolled through her address book, found the number, and called.
