Investigation, continued
Who: Investigation Team
What: Investigation.
Where: Keiichi's dorm.
When: Shortly after Misaki is dumped/a little while after the crime scene investigation.
Why: Growing suspicion.

Renju had never been to the boys' dormitory before. Under most circumstances, she'd never consider it. Before a few months ago, she never thought she'd have reason to.

A few months ago, granted, she'd never have expected the eventual reason to be investigating the possibility of a friend of hers (friend? Really? That was new, too) having been replaced by what was essentially his evil twin.

As she'd said to Seiko, whom she'd run into outside the dorms, she really did have no idea which room was Keiichi's, making the whole "dramatic confrontation" thing difficult. Hopefully she'd run into Tom or something--but then, knowing him, he'd have beaten them there long ago.

	Seiko looked around hoping they'd see someone to direct them, because there was very little chance they'd find Ito-san by randomly knocking on doors, not only that but as girls they really shouldn't be there. "Okay so....any plan at all on how to locate him? I don't really want to get caught. Or waste time looking when Ito-san could be..." (Reply to this) (Thread)

Kozue was on her phone, tapping away at a text message, as she walked towards the boys dormitory. She'd meant to go look at the crime scene—but it seemed like it'd be a long walk, and if Tom and Renju were going, it'd be well taken in hand. This leg of investigation, at least, was closer-by, and the boys dormitory was in many ways her home turf. At least, it was a comfort zone.

She caught sight of Renju and Seiko out front; having, presumably, just arrived? She waved, and folded her phone closed. "Oh, hey."

	Renju gave a slightly distracted nod by way of greeting. Her mind was still occupied with the problem of how to find one specific dorm in such a large building; she didn't really have the time or inclination for pleasantries-- Oh. Wait. "Ah, Kondo-san. 	"His room? Of course I do," Kozue responded, with a bit of…actually, she was proud of herself for it. "C'mon. I'll show you." Being the easiest girl in school was, for once, actually a bit useful. Renju was not nearly as at ease as Kozue was, for multiple reasons. The main one, naturally, was what she was going in for, but the fact that she was going in at all still gnawed a bit at her. She'd occasionally had to do things she'd rather not as part of the whole Paradise matter, but she was still something of a stickler for rules, and this made her edgier than it probably ought to.

With some difficulty, she pushed it to the back of her mind. Find Keiichi first, worry about this later.

	Masami saw Kozue, Renju and Seiko about to enter as she headed for the boy's dorm, and hustled to catch up to them. She was carrying a bokken with her - could never be too safe when possible shadows were concerned, after all. "Hey," she greeted simply. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Seiko followed Kozue fairly at ease herself, mostly cause she often came to the boy's dorm to see friends. And also because until Kozue had taken it over it had been her territory in the past. "Not get tied up or hurt or stabbed or thrown into a convenient door," Kozue responded, trying to put a humorous spin on the situation. "Or kissed. Although I don't really think, if he is really not himself, that that's what Ito-senpai is trying to hide."

And she'd know.

"That's why we go in groups, right?" She raised a hand to wave at Masami, before heading into the boys hallway and making a beeline for Keiichi's room.

	Tom arrived at the door, to find Misaki still there. While he had warned her to get away, at least he was there, and no doubt the team would be along shortly. He reached into his bag to pull out his lock picking gun. "Aoi-san. Has there been any movement?" (Reply to this) (Thread)

	"Maeko-chan?" Misaki looked suprised that she had gotten there so fast. She tried not to cry out and swallowed some..."I...I don't know..." 	Misaki dried her tears and nodded, "Thank you, for coming." She smiled gently at Maeko some what and pushed herself up from the side of the door. She took a sweet and put it in her mouth. "That's unlikely. If blood was still on the blade when he was cut it would be a deep wound, and Ito-san doesn't have a lot of experience at treating his own injuries. It can be hard for someone to do when hurt." Tom continued to rapidly pull the trigger on the lock, until there was a final click. He stood slowly and reached under his coat loosing the ties holding his throwing knives in place. Then looked at both women.

"But we will save him." The tone of his voice made it obvious, Tom would accept no other truth.

	As Tom pushed the door to Keiichi's room open, the scene that greeted them would be utterly....anticlimactic. Of course, the main reason for this was that the light switch was in the off position. Still, light from the hallway began to illuminate the room, and a first glance would seem to indicate that nothing was wrong. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Misaki's face went pale, the same sort of pale that she became when Maeko was in paradise. Only this was much worse. He could be bleeding to death in there. "We...we have to get in there and get him! He could die! Seriously, if he's bleeding..."

She slowly nodded at Tom's comment and bit her lip. Looking inside, Misaki reached over and turned on the light, indicating that she'd been in this room several times before, but choosing not to explain the why behind that fact and squinted into the light.

	"Sagaki." There was disapproval in Maeko's voice, as if Tom had said something improper around a small child. "He'll be fine, Aoi-chan. The report said that the knife only caught him, right? And that the police saw the wound that was inflicted. If both dorm staff and the police assumed it wasn't worth a hospital trip, I think thier judgement can be trusted." Seiko and the other three girls finally reached the others who were standing by Keiichi's doorway which was now open. They stopped by the others to also peer into the room.

"Anything happened?" Seiko asked bouncing very slightly on her heels due to the tense situation and because she was finding this all a little sudden, she really wasn't used to the investigation side yet.

"Ah are you okay Aoi-san?" she added to the pink haired girl who was clearly going to be distressed.

As the light flicked on...the team was, again, likely to be relieved or disappointed, depending on who an individual member was.

The room looked lived in. The sheets and blanket on the bed were rumpled, and there was a bit of clutter on the floor. Other than that, though, nothing was on. No computer, no TV, nothing.

Perhaps the only thing that could be perceived as truly off was the fact that next to Keiichi's laptop sat a leather-bound book that lay open for anyone who wanted to take a look.

Misaki was still shaking, more like trembling now, and was on and off wipeing her eyes. She gave Seiko a weak smile, trying to keep herself calm. She was breathing slowly, clearly if she had gone in here herself she probably would have tried to get into pardise on her own. Swallowing some to keep back the ill feeling in the pit of her stomache.

"I...I'm okay, Seiko-san, just...just worried. I just want to get him back here and safe, that's all," misaki admitted rubbing her arms and she moved over to look at the book.

"What's this?" She asked as she picked up the book to read it.

As Misaki looks over the book, and flips through it, she will note it to be a journal of Keiichi's thoughts. If she is patient, she will notice happy entries such as the day they first started going out, and similar things.

If she (or anyone else on the team) is good with dates, however, they will notice a few key pages missing. Primary among them is what apear to be several pages ripped out around the time of the re-run of Kiriko's dungeon. From then on, strewn throughout the journal are places where pages were obviously torn out.

On today's date reads three simple words, seemingly the last of the shadow's handiwork in the room.

"Welcome to Paradise."

"Tom-kun...Tom-kun. Maeko-chan, guys! Look at this!" Misaki said as she hurried over to the others with the book. "It's Keiichi-kun's journal. There are a lot of notes in here, but...some of the pages are missing, like..." she flipped through to show the missing pages, "Here! When we went back to Kiriko's dungeon. I remember the date because I started working on a pillow peice for Trowler."

The happy entries are not missed on her and, once she hands the book over to Maeko, she starts to cry just a bit, because her heart hurts.
