Action Scene: Lily at the Pitch

Making her way out of the castle as quietly as possible, and without anyone seeing her, Lily found herself on the pathway to the Quidditch pitch. She smiled to herself as she made her way to the edge of the pitch. How she had spent many long hours watching James and the rest of the House team practice. As much as she hated to admit it, she did like the sport... Well, she liked watching James play, but other than that, it's wasn't her favourite sport.

Hugging her arms closer to her chest, Lily lent against one of posts to the stands, sighing deeply. What was she going to do now that she was alive?

Harry exited the castle in a fury. He had half a mind to jump into the ruddy lake just to have that momentary brain freeze to make all conversations with the Malfoy's and Snape just vanish even for a few seconds.

He had forgotten how hard it was to dodge people or get them to leave you alone. A whole year in a tent with your best mates changed how you dealt with large crowds. And appearances, Harry mused, scratching at his chin.

He caught a glimpse of red hair heading towards the pitch and almost turned around thinking it was Ginny when he realized the body shape wasn't the same.

Changing his direction mid-stride, Harry headed down towards the pitch with one intent in mind. Proving to Snape that he wasn't a liar.

"Mum?" he called from a safe distance, not wanting to startle her.

	Lily froze, in surprise and in anxiety of talking to anyone. A moment later, Lily turned and saw Harry. Giving him a warm smile, she unfolded her arms and gave him a small wave. "Harry... What are you doing out here?" she asked still looking at him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
