Action Scene: On the way to the Great Hall

Lucius led the way through the hallways of Hogwarts. He hadn't felt this good in a long time. He was alive with his family behind him. He could deal with the details of the Ministry later. If he could do it before during the first war, he could do it again.

"Do you have to go?" he asked."Please stay, just for a while," he couldn't help pleading, even though he knew Malfoys' pleaded with no one. "You're welcome to come with me, but I'll not stay here a moment longer than I must," he warned, desperately needed to be away from this place.

Severus knew he should be dead. Was supposed to be dead. He would stay long enough to find out what the brat had done to him and not a moment more.

"That is between the two of us," he said coldly, not wishing to speak of it now. Perhaps later he would tell Draco, but not until he understood it better himself.

	Draco considered for a moment, "Thank you," he said finally. It was the best he would get out of Sev probably, and he didn't want to push his luck. Perhaps a few days away from his Mother would give her time to cool down. Although, "Severus you do have Egyptian cottan sheets for my bed right?" he couldn't help but ask. "If you continue to call me that, particularly in front of others, you won't even get sheets," he admonished through clenched teeth. "You may not even get a bed. Considering the events of the last 48 hours I'm appalled that you're worried about the kind of sheets you will be sleeping on! It's time to grow up and stop acting like a spoiled child, Draco."

Severus loved his Godson, but his parent's indulgence would be the boy's undoing. Egyptian cotton sheets? Spoiled little ponce.
