Action Scene: Sirius goes to retrieve Remus

Sirius stood on the doorstep to the house he had not been to in years. He was going to see Remus again and his heart hammered in his chest. Memories of their last night together played across his mind but he pushed them back and told himself he was here for Remus and to help him with his change only. He couldn't give away a thing about what had happened; he had to protect Remus. He eyed the place warily and took a deep breath as he lifted a hand to knock on the heavy wooden door, wondering who would answer and hoping against hope that it would be Remus.

	Sirius smiled and nodded as he continued to rub Remus's back. "That's good to hear. It looks to be late afternoon but I'm not getting up to get my wand to check just yet. You awake enough to tell if you can travel or not? I have a promise to keep to someone." He smirked at Remus and leaned forward pressing a kiss to his brow. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Remus searched through the fog of his mind and remembered the words Sirius had spoken to Teddy just before they'd gone. He smiled, giving Sirius another swift kiss before reaching out to run his fingers through his soft black hair. "I'm okay to go." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Sirius leaned into Remus's hand, humming as his fingers scrapped across his scalp. "You can never stop doing that," he chuckled and sighed, tossing back the blankets. Remus nodded and slid his fingertips through the strands once more before kissing Sirius's forehead then letting him go so he could get up. Inwardly, he sighed. Despite the circumstances, having this time with Sirius was really nice. But soon, they'd have to leave this place and the solace it offered, and he'd go back to the little house where he'd go on with his lie of a marriage and his lie of a smile. Thank Merlin for Teddy. He was the only happiness Remus found inside that house. Consequently, if it weren't for Teddy, Remus was sure he'd have escaped the house months ago and never looked back.

	Sirius stood and stretched, reaching down to pick up his robes. He pulled them on and held out a hand to Remus as he buttoned them back up. "Side-Along again?" (Reply to this) (Parent)
